    That's why these message boards are a joke. Too many armchair GM's spewing nonsense. People need to get lives.

    Plus, other teams fans are right when they say most colts fans not very knowledgeable about football, and are just spoiled manning fans. Which I agree with. I'm embarrassed to be associated with most of you, to be honest.

    One thing ppl complain about is the colts CB's playing off, well guess who likes to play off the wr's.... ASSANTE SAMUEL, point is its not the coaches or the scheme its the players... look at bryan urlacher with the bears they ran a tampa 2 and look at them they were a great defense thats cause they had the players. if a better corner played you would see better production... powers is a good CB but lacey is not so good on the outside at all..... And THAT is the issue NOT THE SCHEME!

    To be honest, at first I was all like "Yeah let's get Luck" but lately I have been thinking in my free time, we don't need to draft him. There are other quarterbacks in this years draft that can be had late. Ryan Tannehill from Texas A&M 1st-2nd rounder, Kirk Cousin from Michigan State 2nd rounder, Nick Foles from Arizona 5th-6th rounder, Kellen Moore(the only downside from what I have read/seen is he doesn't have a lot of zip on his throws) from Boise State(which surprisingly I saw a lot from him last year as i watched highlight films for Titus Young) is a projected 6th-7th rounder. Next year Luck, Barkley and Jones could all be in the draft too if they want to complete their 4 year college course. In the 2014 draft there is Tyler Bray 1st rounder, Logan Thomas, Casey Pachall, Case McCoy, Jeff Godfrey and Tommy Rees(though I don't like him). So let's not feel like we this is the year we have to find Peyton's eventual successor.

    I honestly believe the vest choice out of these is krllen Moore. He has plenty of zip on the ball and will be available in the 3rd. If he was bigger in size he would be a first rounder. He will be a stud. Super high football IQ and he is a winner.

    Were the fans really starting to boo?

    People need to realize this is how we have to win with Collins. We got to run the ball, play solid defense, and win low scoring plays. He is not going to lit the scoreboard up like Mainning does. People need to be more patient.

    There we go Pat. Just kick it out of the back of the end zone. Do not have to make the tackle that way.

    Unless we have the first pick in the draft, we won't get him. Trading even from a fifth pick to a first pick requires a couple of first round picks at least based on trade value, too much to give up. I'd rather hope Peyton comes back, select Alshon Jeffery as the Brandon Marshall like WR talent from South Carolina in round 1 and select Kirk Cousins, QB, of Michigan State in round 2 that has good zip on his delivery with a lot of upside.

    I agree with you on this one. Cousins is a stud. I also would like the colts to look at Moore from Boise state. His football IQ is amazing and he does a lot of play calling from the line of scrimmage. Idk we will see.

    I know it's been said but manning really made this coach seem like he could coach. I know he won't be gone this year but please next year actually get a head coach. Caldwell isn't a head coach. Maybe a goof assistant coach but it's time the organization opens their eyes. People will say get luck next year but it's not just manning being gone. Our defense needs help too. Idk if we need a change of philosophy or what but something needs to be done.

    I understand this is just one game and I'm sure we will improve next week but still things need ti change. I do think we have a talented defense it just needs coached better. Kinda like notre dame is a great team but lacks good coaching. I mean if you think about it 21 of these points can't be completely blamed on the d. Collins fumbled twice in a row deep in our territory and they didn't hsvr anytime to rest in between.
