To be fair, Painter threw the ball about 7 yards. Garcon and the blocking did the rest.
Still, he didn't make a bad throw, and it was the right read. He's not a good QB, but he's doing enough right now.
That was 11 guys doing everything they could on that play.
U don't know if he IS a good qb or not. It's his FIRST career start. Getting all the 1st team snaps in practice helps

While I will agree with that the fact of the matter is, it was just a long check down.
They ran a rout to put one of their best open field runners in the exact position where all the check downs have been completed, with complimentary "blocking" routes downfield. The play took the exact same amount of time to get from Freeman's hand to Williams hand as it did on all the check downs.
Sometimes things are the same even when they appear to be different.

They didn't pick up that 3rd and long on a check down. They picked it up on an underneath drag route; he was target #1 on the route, not the check down.

He said they would make changes in regards to one player, then said they would make the necessary changes in terms as a team. But hey go ahead and make broad assumptions.
He didn't mention anything in the post i mentioned about one player he mentioned changes as a team talking about the checkdownd. But NM your not understanding what I was pointing out.
