  1. I could see him taking a similar path to what Derek Mason has above, and for reasons like others have stated - more weapons and a more balanced offense (we hope). Reggie seems to take pretty good care of himself with no major injuries that I can remember. We could maybe see him push to 40 like Jerry Rice, though maybe not quite as productive.

    Just for comparison:

    Jerry Rice

Age 34 - 108/1254/8 (lead NFL in receptions)

Age 35 - 7/78/1 (injured most of season)

    Age 36 - 82/1157/9

    Age 37 - 67/830/5

    Age 38 - 75/805/7

Age 39 - 83/1139/9 (first season in Oakland)

    Age 40 - 92/1211/7

    Age 41 - 63/869/2 (started 15/16 games; played in all 16 though)

Age 42 - 30/429/3 (played for both Oakland and Seattle; started 14 games)

Wow...I never realized he played until he was 42, and he faced some injuries in his career.

  2. I was shocked to see that he topped the list, but happy someone saw all the obstacles he had to overcome as a young QB being asked to fill a huge void. The list is pretty good overall, but the top 5 should be appreciated regardless. It's going to be a lot of fun watching these guys grow in this league.

  3. Weird as this may sound, when I scouted DHB I really wondered if he might need Lasik. He's a physical presence who can be solid as a catch and run threat (and can run block on the perimeter), but he's terrible at tracking deep passes. If he fixes that, we have a major steal on our hands.

If not, he can still contribute if we focus on his strengths, but we should know going into it that he's not the traditional deep threat his size and speed would lead one to believe. At least not yet.

I can see why you would say that. I haven't seen much action from him since college, so I've only had to go off of highlights I have found people posting and his numbers. He does seem to lose track of the ball, but I also saw him making catches where Jason Campbell would just sail it into the worst coverage, just terrible decisions. He was pretty good at getting yards after the catch in a few I've seen also.

  4. I guess I should stop stalking this board and start posting lol...Well DHB is being given a great opportunity, so only he can screw this up. It's very hard to judge him off of his play when he's spent 4 years of his career playing on a franchise with lack of leadership, multiple lackluster QB's, and at the time a terrible front office. I don't expect him to dominate, but I do expect him to improve from his Raider days, because he has zero excuses. I'm hopeful he can put up similar or slightly better numbers than Avery....without the drops, though  :goodluck:

  5. It's kinda sad because this seems to follow Avery. He would have these type of games for the rams, and when he started to click with Bradford he would get hurt. I hope he shakes it off and is back on the field sooner than later. I think Hilton is capable of filling in, though. I did notice that in this dolphin's game, even with some of the drops that happened, they seem to be building chemistry with Luck.
