  1. I would like to apologize on behalf of Redskins fans. I do not understand why posters like RGIII have to show up after every Colts win/Redskins loss to try to prop up RG3 and belittle Luck's accomplishments. Both quarterbacks are playing phenomenal right now. It's an apples to oranges comparison. Luck would have more polished stats in our system and RG3 would have more gunslinger-like stats in Arians system. It makes our fan base look desperate and pathetic when posters like RGIII show up trying to defend our QB whenever Luck accomplishes something great or RG3 makes a mistake. It screams insecurity.

I will admit, if the draft started over and we had the #1 pick. I would want Luck but I am equally happy with RG3. This is the general consensus among us Redskins fans on our forum as well. No harm here, both will go on to have successful careers in my opinion. God bless.

  2. Think about it allowing 458 and 525 yards back to back/ a quarterback that is literally begging the opponent to win by throwing overtime picks/ against the better QBs, the defense struggles (Rodgers, Stafford, Manning) and Brady is coming in 2 weeks

no way this team is coming close to a sb, patriots are probably going to steam roll them and i wouldnt be surprised if the broncos as well now that they are sync

matt schaub is the worst qb of all the playoff qbs, kinda feel bad for texans fans

  3. Not a troll post but lets be honest. The Colts are the better team, RG3 is the better QB. with RG3 the Colts would be a lot better. He knows how to protect the ball, doesn't throw pick 6's, is extremely accurate, very mobile and explosive, and has great arm strength. Thoughts?

  4. What stats are those?

The one that matters? Colts are 6-3, Skins are 3-6.

Or if you want to talk about stats that dont matter, let me point out that the only reason RG3 has a higher comp % because he throws a ton of dump offs, more than any QB in the league. While Luck actually throws the ball down the field, more so than any QB in the league. Which is why the Colts have the most plays of 20+ yards in the league.

You can pick and choose whatever you want to prop RG3 up, just like the media did to create some sort of * rivalry between he and Andrew. Both are good QB's, Andrew's better.

    lol are u serious

neither the colts or redskins are going to win the sb so all that matters are the qb stats and rg3 is better than luck. rg3 does throw the ball down field the wrs just cant catch. numbers dont lie

  5. That game was on 10/28. Here is quote I made from that thread.

The Redskins now have 20 drops

    http://hosted.stats....ge=NFL&rank=232

The other teams aren't likely updated from last weeks games yet.

So in the Panthers/Steelers games the Redsksins dropped 9 combined passes. I made it a point to look it up later that week and he was at 16, so it appears they dropped for in the next game.

so in his 2 lowest completion percentage games he had the most drops, just shows that he is really that good and proving my point he is the best rookie qb right now and probably top 10

  6. Actually it was 5. I made a point to look at his #'s later in that week when they finally updated it. Then someone needs to teach him to multitask.

i look at it as a positive

even with 5 drops and a poor defense he is still a top qb right now and statistically the best in the nfc east right now. we werent going to the sb anyways but my point is rg3 is playi better than luck

  7. Like Bill Parcells says, you are what your record says you are. The Redskins might be more talented than their record reflects, but that doesn't change their record. You talk about the sorry defense giving up 400 yards per game, and that's a big part of the reason the team hasn't won more. You can't just ignore that part of the football team.

Aside from all that, I think maybe you're having trouble being objective. Calling Griffin the best quarterback quarterback in the division is ... how do I put this mildly ... devoid of perspective?

Im just goin by stats RG3 has the highest completion percentage 14 total TDs which is the most, highest qb rating, and the only thing he has less is yards. Numbers dont lie just like stepeh a smith says.

  8. I had faith in Luck in week 3, probably before many of you had faith that he would lead us to a come from behind victory - and I got burned. It was my fault for having faith in him too soon anyway. I don't blame anyone else but myself. He looks good. Good enough to have faith, but faith must be earned.

Many of you will blame Vinetari for missing a field goal or the defense for giving up that last drive. But in all honesty, Luck had the chance to pull away and instead threw a pick (and almost another in the 4th) and failed to put the game away.

It will take a few "Eli" or "Peyton" like comebacks, regularly before I have faith.

Its not like theres a long list of QBs I have faith in to win in those situations. Maybe 4 or 5.

    lol peyton comebacks?

    like this 1?

how many QBs do you know that threw a pick 6 on the game tying/ winning drive in the SB? ill give luck that, he hasnt done that yet

  9. Redskins should be 8-1 right now, lost the ST Louis game because Morgan is an *. Lost the Giants game because the defense cannot defend (just like jags v colts), Falcons and Bengals is debatable but at least 2 of those games were basically in the bag but we lost bcuz of poor play

could easily be 5-4 at the least but all other games except steelers were winnable. dont even get me started on that steelers game. The colts on the other hand have relied on incredible luck and get blown out in their losses(except jags) Look at the Jets and the Bears. u guys got blown out so badly its laughable, not even noodle arm could have saved u in those games. The titans game was for sure over but some phantom whistle stopped that fumble. There is a lot of LUCK going the colts way and not the redskins thats the difference.

bottom line is numbers dont lie and right now numbers show rg3 is the better qb. wins and losses are a team achievmnet. If the redskins didn have all these injuries, easily could be at least 6-3 if not 7-2 right now. Plus u play in the weakest division in the nfl where the nfc is the toughest. thats why peyton was able to get 10 11 12 wins every year and choke in the playoffs cuz he didnt have any real competition in that divison. Look at the giants, they win 9 or 10 games and win the SB bcuz they have a legit division that challenges them.
