Barry, I have Dish. Not Direct. Used to have Direct, but they made me angry. My internet provider (Indiana Data Center) charges $24.99 a month. As far as snow/ice, I have never had any problems unless the storm was bad enough to wipe out my power. In which case, of course, I wouldn't know whether my service was working or not.

Thanks for all of the replies. The house I bought last year used to have Direct TV and the dish is still mounted on the roof of the garage, but I wouldn't be able to access it to clear snow and ice without fear of hurting myself. Maybe if I got it, they'd take that one down and mount it on the side of the house? I always got the Colts on the local CBS affiliate, but now that they aren't as good and the Bengals are better, they'll start showing more Bengals games, even thoug...

I'm pretty sure they would, Barry. The story about why I was angry with Direct is too long to post here so I'll send it to you in a message. Reading it may give you some tips in case Direct does give you a hard time.
