It's a strong possibility if we can't beat Jacksonville. Houston or Tenn. might rest their starters to give us a chance to win if we can't beat Jacksonville.

Part of what will make it hard for us to win games is the payback factor. Teams and fan bases still hate us from all the beatings that they got for the past 10 years.

I could be wrong, but there's about 200 other things ahead of this on the list of why we can't win ballgames.

Pollard was great when he was here. Seemed like a good guy, liked to get the crowd fired up. I'll watch the Amazing Race, but only because it's one of my wife's favorite shows. The problem is that it's on in prime time on Sunday nights, so you miss the first half of the NBC game.

[The "horrible" Defense....]

ALL THIS TALK about our terrible defense...can't stop anyone, blah blah. Well, riddle me this. What has changed so drastically about this terrible defense since 2009 when they were ranked 9th in points allowed (maybe 8th, but def. in top 10)??? Most of the same players are there, with a few exceptions (Hayden, Session) but no real huge difference makers are gone. That defense in 2009 won us several close games (New England, SF, Jax) and smothered the Ravens and Jets in the playoffs.

SO, you tell me. What's the big difference? Age? I thought they played well enough to win Saturday, given the situations they were placed into...

If we played on Saturda we'd be winning more games I bet--sorry, couldn't resist

Agree 100%. Our guys will come out with a real chip on their shoulders to prove that there is more to this team than who is behind center. I have a gut feeling this could be a probowl caliber year for some guys on the defense (bethea, powers come to mind).
