  1. Longer versions: http://www.nfl.com/videos/new-england-patriots/0ap3000000424301/Sound-FX-Tom-Brady-vs-Broncos Wilfork on sideline: "We got Tom Brady, baby. Greatest that ever lived. Tom Brady" Also, here's another good one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qFyIF5v5co I love the ominous music that plays when it gets to Gronkowski, like someone is in deep, deep, deep trouble. I've never seen a QB's fiery personality and intensity elevate the team like Tom's leadership does. His body language and zeal sets the bar for the personality of the entire team.
  2. Gronk has been injured for the last 3 consecutive play off runs.
  3. Not even close. 2007 was a gauntlet of the best teams and best defenses in the league.
  4. Great write up lol. Here are my thoughts: The Patriots schedule is tough on paper, but in a league dictated by match ups, it isn't that bad. The Packers are a team a lot of teams should be scared of, but should the Patriots? Will the Patriots #1 secondary with Browner, Revis and McCourty allow the Packers to keep pace with Brady shredding their soft, weak defense? I seriously, seriously doubt it, even in Green Bay. The Patriots are just a bad match up for the Packers. Unlike a lot of teams, our D should be able to slow Rodgers down and the Packer D will likely get completely rolled over by
  5. Patriots will bring in Deion Sanders to cover him. The arms race continues.
  6. But you're right about one thing. If you don't count any of Tom Brady's Superbowl wins, Tom Brady has no Superbowl wins. Of course, if you only count the years that he won, Tom Brady wins the Superbowl once per season. Pretty impressive!
  7. Yeah but if you take away every single game ever before last weekend, Tom Brady averages 4 TD's a game with a mind blowing QBR. Pretty impressive stuff,
  8. Only scrubs play for Superbowls. We're in it for the stats (aka numbers on a piece of paper or website). I print them out and dance in the streets with 'em. Not as heavy as a Lombardi and easier to wave in peoples faces. They're much more dynamic than a championship because I can manipulate them to do anything I want, while Lombardi's are so much more limited. Championships are what they are, but you can make stats be anything you want them to be. The possibilities are endless.
  9. Our dynasty and fourteen years of NFL domination happened to coincide with the rise of the internet and the advent of salt-in-the-wounds mega trolling. It's who we are. I wear it with pride. "Brady's better! Brady's better! Brady's better!"
  10. Agree, Browns are a looking built like a solid play off team and Steelers will crumble before the end. Great, aggressive defense, Hoyer looking like Brady-lite, good coaching. I hope they don't come our way first
  11. They got rid of it last season and it was called many times, before the 01' AFCCG and after
  12. Yes, the King of garbage time managed to put up over 400 useless yards by the end of the game. Down 3 scores with under 3 minutes left to play, he was still throwing 30 and 40 yard passes IIRC. But we're talking real football. Not fantasy football. As for Revis, I don't know if you've been watching the games, but he's made everyone he's covered basically disappear. After the first few possessions, Peyton stopped even looking in his direction. I have no idea where you got the idea that Revis has been substandard, He's been pretty shut down phenomenal, actually.
  13. What's up, guys and gals? So a lot of Patriot fans over at Patfans are worried about this game and I'm apparently crazy because I'm not - not anymore than any game. To be fair, though, I have only seen 3 Colt games this year, and 2 of them were your losses in the early season, not that I put a lock of stock in the first 4 or 5 weeks of an NFL season. My confidence comes basically from two things: 1. I just don't know how you're going to stop Gronk... I feel like any season he can remain healthy is going to be another Lombardi for Tom. 2. As much as I actually like Luck (and I do, t
