    We have got consistent pressure on the QB for the last 2 games. Which is very encouraging

    YES!!!! That is by far the most impressive defensive perfomance I've seen from our colts in some time! Yes the pressure was fantastic, but some of the little things that we don't always see. The tackling was much better, did you guys see Angerer keep Rodgers from getting past the line of scrimmage when he tried to juke him? Or Harris come through the line and having the awarness to put his hand up to stop the shovel pass? AND Simms was all over the place!!! I think the weakest link on defense right now is Lacey. I think Tryon is a better corner . . . what do you guys think?

    Am I the only one who has seen all the articles saying that Peyton didnt even know Irsay said that and Peyton came out last night and said he fully expects to play game one and has never really intended to play preseason?

    Peyton is going to Play game 1!

    That's the wishful thinking coming in. None of us want to even think about Manning not being able to play so a lot of us are looking for any reason in the world for it not to be true.

    Irsay has been very straight forward and honest since being on twitter I don't see that changing on this. You can tell he has been honest because when asked about it Polian gets annoyed.

    Yea, now that is something to think about. I think that Peyton has been such and AMAZING player, as we all do. I don't even think its gonna sink in how blessed we've been as fans until he is really gone! I think I will probably sit and watch reruns for a few years as we rebuild.

    In the meantime though, I am going to watch him take us to a level I don't thing anyone expects! He knows how close he is to it all being over and I think he's going to come out and dominate his last years (as if he hasn't already). By the time hes done He will have at least one more MVP and another ring.

    Go Peyton and the colts!!!

    First off, I know it is fun to discuss these things, and talk about the what ifs etc . . . That is what these threads are for to some extent. and . . . It is clear that most of us who have been long time fans understand the preseason ways of the colts and that the chances of Peyton not starting that 1st game are slim to none! BUT for those of you are can't understand that the colts are ALWAYS terrible in Preseason, please look a little deeper. There has actually been a lot of outstanding indivdual play coming out of this preseason. Which is exactly what the coaches are looking for to see who they can plug where.

    We have not game planned up to this point!

    I don't even think in any of the first series of play there has been 100% starters on field at same time

    AND Peyton will make it back for the first game!!!

    I love these threads some for great info, and some to laugh at some of the dramatic things I hear, but lately, I just don't get all the crazy panic I seem to hear. Come on guys, lets stay focused like our colts have for the past 12+ years!

    THIS IS OUR TIME!!! (Again lol)
