  1. No tweeting here either....however, if I knew I could type a few words on a twitter account and cause millions of people to jump, what a power trip that would be. I might find it hard to restrain myself in having fun at other people expense.

You are right Ruk, no need for twitter when you are a forum God! :worthy: You actually restrain yourself from having fun at other peoples expense? I wished I could. :stir:

  2. meh......need something more solid. Perhaps I could watch you through a fence slat from 200 yards away for about 29 seconds? That would suffice.

I would not mind joining, but with that group of characters :hippies: it seems more like a cult than club. On second thought I'm in :hippie:

  3. It's not really hostile but others keep trying to make it hostile. Who ever the shoe fits should wear it. I for one think a lot of OP are coming around but there are some that keep :stir: JMO of course.

See, there you go stirring the pot again Susie. Give me the magic wand and let me lock this puppy up :)

  4. No, it has alot to do with the fact of Peyton Manning coming to visit my son on Ocotober 11, 2005 at St Vincent Childrens hospital(at the time it was called that) and he spent some quality time with us and I've been the hardest core Colts fan ever since...It's completely changed mine and my families lives ever since...Although my son will probably never be able to live a normal independent life, we will always be able to "push through" life with a garanteed thing to always look forward to, Our COLTS! GO COLTS!!!

I am sorry to hear about your son. I hope he is doing well and I wish him, you and your family all the best. I do admire your fire and passion for the Colts. Like I said previously, I have been a Colts fan for many years (38) and my passion has been replaced with reality many times.

If you do not set the expectations to high, then the fall does not hurt as bad and if they exceed your expectations then that makes it all the sweeter.

  5. He'll be alright, you're just speaking from heart instead of head...

I am speaking from my heart instead of my head? Are you serious? Have you been under a rock the last 14 years? I will give you credit for one thing, you are committed. Now I just need to figure out what hopsital.

  6. Peyton is a master at avoiding the big hit. I have noticed no such decline in his pocket steadfastness. When I think of Peyton the word "nervous" doesn't even cross my mind.

Ruk, were we just talking about being people being stoned in another thread? WOW!!! We should have came here. LOL!!

No team out there will have any idea how to plan for us in 2012...

We will lite up teams with plenty of surprises in all aspects of the game that will even surprise us fans and it will add an extra spice to our Colts that has never been seen in the NFL...

No human being out there can even begin to explain how good Andrew Luck is, he's that good, when surrounded by NFL players, Andrew Luck will be out of this world...

Our defense will be hard hitting, quick, and well coached...

Special Teams will actually know what they're doing...

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE will now have a well-rounded head while also having well-rounded coaches that know what the H-E double toothpicks they're doing in all aspects of the game...Grigson is the real deal, I promise you, just wait and see, that's all i've got to say...

I am all for the positive side of things, I commend you for that. I personally do not see it " hope you are right " but a team has to be good "if not great" in virtually all facets of the game in you scenerio.

  7. Manning to Tennesse? Bring him on Colts will be ready. Go Colts!!

Man I have been a Colts fan for 38 years and I am looking forward to the new direction. It took me some time to come to terms with Manning being gone and the team being dismantled.

But all that said " be carefull what you wish for " me personally, I would not like to see Andrew face off against the GOAT twice a year before he even gets his feet wet..

  8. Hope we sign somebody. lol He fits our new defensive scheme. But willl he want to sign with what is essentially an expansion team at this point?

Fantastic question. Because at this point we are no more than just that, an expansion team.

  9. Melt..

Did Connecticut use an I-formation (with a blocking back) when Brown Played there?

They did at times but it was mostly a one back set if my memory serves me well. What the issue is or was with Donald coming out of college when a play was designed to say go through the 2 hole or gap. He knew that was his mark he ran towards the 2 hole and if it was open he went through. If not he would then bounce to the outside or improvise.

We ran or run a zone blocking scheme where the actual hole you should run to was never defined (it was either left side or right side) it is / was left up to the back to pick the hole based on the flow of the offensive line. He struggled here indentifying the hole when it opened thus he hesitated a lot in the backfield.

  10. Now that we're getting a new QB here soon, does anyone like me think Brown's numbers will raise pending that we keep him? Peyton was not mobile by any means and would hand the ball off pretty slow. Now that Brown doesn't have to block as much do you think there is going to be a pick up in the ground game?

Yeah, as soon as he learns to find the right hole. Donald Brown has never lived up to his billing but it is not all his fault. We run or ran a zone blocking scheme where the back must identify the hole as it opens. Donald came from a system where the hole was determined and if it wasn't there then improvise.

Now since we simplified the offense last year we went more toward this style of running game and Donald started to show some flashes but I really still do not think he is the back we need. Hope he proves me wrong this year because Luck will need a decent run game for support.

  11. I may or may not start to get excited about the "new" colts after the draft. Until a few days ago I was falsely excited for the change. Probably part of my internal coping mechanism.....dunno. Right now I just don't care.

Well that just summed it up for me to. I don't think I could have typed it better myself.

  12. Who does he think he is? This is a guy who constantly drops passes and IMO deserves nothing even close #1 WR money.

Perfectly said Balzer. He is a inconsistent and a over hyped receiver in my book. I never did figure out what he did with the supposed blazing speed he had, when every DB I saw that covered him was in his hip pocket.

  13. 14 amazing years trust me i know, but we are forgetting to post some positive things about our players that are still here they deserve some respect as well.

We still have players here? I just wanted to make sure I have not seen the waiver wire today.
