The LB from USC, gallipo i think is the name.

Its true I've almost felt bad for the texans during the past few years, I guess they deserve a little success until the colts come full circle in a couple years and lay the smack down for another 10 years!
-
He needs a little scruff, he looks like forrest gump in the clean shaven pic.
-
The one wearing blue and white!

I don't think we have a better team now than the 98' team, Peyton had Marshall freaking Faulk in the back field, a future HOFer! I have high expectations in years to come but this team we have doesn't pose a threat in the running game right now.
My bad current HOFer!

I know when Manning came here it took him 2 3 years i think to get to the playoffs. And we don't know how good Luck is. But i feel like we have a better team then the 1998 Colts.

I know what you are saying, but I think that you are underestimating Luck a little. It is not as impossible as you winning the lottery and getting struck by lightning on the same day. He is the most heralded QB to come out in 30 years. He has the potential to be as good or better than Peyton. But I guess we will just have to wait and see.
You know what it means when you say he has the "potential" to be as good as peyton? It means he hasn't done it yet! I could potentially be better than peyton in two years. That being said, I am a faithful colts fan and I hope andrew excels in every way possible.

Thanks for everything to this point Joe but I refuse to cheer for any part of that team in new england. Hopefully we get to enjoy many years of colts domination over the pats in the Luck era!!!!
-
It may be just me but i think its still too early to put manning posts in nfl general. #18 will never be general to colts fans, unless you'er talking field general!
-
The man deserves a statue and a parade in his honor once a week! After he retires of course.
-
Why can't someone root for peyton, yet still be a colts fan. Its not like these people are rooting for some random. Just rooting for the man who gave them so many great memories with our favorite team, the colts. For me, its weird to say but, whatever team Peyton plays for on sundays from now on i'll still see a horseshoe on his helmet. He'll always be a colt to me.

"I truly have enjoyed being your quarterback".
Some players may say that but, you know manning meant every frickin word! #18 forever. GOAT!
From me to Manning:
"I have truly enjoyed watching and cheering for you every sunday, thanks for everything Peyton!"

- Thanks for the great years Peyton! No matter what team Peyton plays for, I'll be cheering for him. GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!!!

Unfortunately i live too far away but the mayor should make tomorrow Peyton Manning day with a parade and a huge thank you from the city of Indy. Honestly whatever you guys end up doing won't seem like enough.

I gotta say the more I see Luck, the more excited I get about our future.

Whos the little wes welker WO wearing number 40? I like that kid. Quick, good hands, hard to cover, runs good routes.
That kid looks intriguing, but we still have collie in the slot last I checked. Mind you he does have concussion worries now.

I know this is off topic but as a new member why can't I start a new thread yet? Can anyone tell me how many posts I have to make in order to achieve this priviledge?

I hope Manning acquires immortality and plays for INDY until the end of time! Lol. And just to clarify, that was a joke everybody. We'er way too sensitive these days. I want manning in indy, if thats not possible i'll be the first to cheer for luck. But, I will NEVER forget what Peyton did for this football team and the city of Indy.

I became a fan exactly ten years ago i am currently 21 now and live in Ontario Canada. It was grade seven gym class that made me fall in love with football for the first time since before that i was all about hockey obviously being from Canada hockey is huge. I decided to pick a team that year and the first reason I chose the colts was because they were blue and white like my favorite hockey team the Toronto Maple Leafs. The reason I stuck with them though was I enjoyed the way the played especially the way Manning moved the ball around. I've been a huge fan ever since own probably over 100 articles of colts clothing and have now been to over 10 games. Colts for life.
I am as well a leafs and colts fan. Started liking the colts because of Peyton and the way he ran the offense from the line of scrimmage. And i've been a leaf fan since the gilmour years. Go Blue!
-
well i hope you are right torgodog. That would be the best outcome, for Peyton to win a few more SBs in indy.
-
I have been a Colts fan for 63 years and will die a Colts fan, but I just don't see Peyton winning another SB with the Colts. As much as I would like to see him retire with the Colts I would really rather see him win another SB, I just don't see that happening with the Colts. So I guess I would rather see him go to another team that has everything but a QB in order to add another SB to his resume.
Regardless of where he goes I'm still a dedicated Colts fan but I'm also a PM fan.
I regard PM the greatest since Johnny Unitas, I really don't think Brady or anyone else comes close,
Thats my opinion and I will stick with it.
I definitely agree kspmaint. I'm both a colts and manning fan. If it takes manning going to another team in order for him to win a couple more superbowls then i'm for it. He deserves to have his legacy cemented with a couple more SB rings. It will still be hard to see him in a different jersey though.
-
Actually i think Peyton deserves to own a part of the colts. Even if it comes after he retires.

I personally don't care what happens with the #1 pick. If it wasn't for manning this team would have been in a 13 year slump. Jim, don't bite the hand that feeds you. Peyton made irsay a lot of money and put indy on the map as a football community. After many years of dedication and winning on peyton's part, I feel like Jim owes it to peyton to pay him even being unsure of his health. So what if he never gets back to his former level of greatness, if he wants to play in indy that's what should happen. I know its complicated but peyton has earned the right to try to make a full recovery IN A COLTS UNIFORM! Take a risk on the next few years for peyton, don't disrespect him whatever you do. I understand that many of you will disagree with this but thats the way I feel. Be honest with me, if peyton had never came to indy, would some of you have even been football fans? You'd probably been worried about the pacers right now. Jim, pay the man!
