Wade Phillips had his moment of glory. Then reality set back in and he realized how bad his team is and how he might be out of job soon.

I don't play football but if I did I think I would like Rex as a coach. This has been his best year. Maybe not record or playoff wise but given that the "experts" said the Jets would be the worst team....awesome job!

Having somewhat of an interest in the NY Jets (I have family in NJ) I check the Gang Green message board once in awhile. A big topic on their board is the QB situation. I am so thankful we have Andrew Luck. No QB drama needed. We are blessed to have went from Peyton to Andrew.
Keep Sanchez, dump Sanchez. Keep Geno, dump Geno. Draft. Have a QB derby. What a mess. Us Colts fans have it made.

Yeah I wouldn't underestimate the Chargers. I've always enjoyed watching Rivers play (except against the Colts). He can be a cry baby but he can jaw too.

Maybe if the Jets let Rex go Detroit will pick him up. I think Woody will want to keep him but Idzik might finally get to bring his own guy in. I personally like Rex and think his personality could fit Detroit. Plus Rex's done a lot with a team that was suppose to finish last.

Sadly my nephew came over to watch the game with my son. They're both Lions fans and I felt bad for the kids. Even I was "yelling" at the TV when they sat on the ball at the end of regulation. Cool side note: We actually got to meet Stafford in the Super Bowl Village. Much bigger in real life

Yeah I'm happy for them too. I'm actually rooting for Rex Ryan. I know he has a big mouth sometime but I actually like that about him. The media loves to tear him and that team apart. Yeah they do some stupid stuff...well alot of stupid stuff sometimes but I still like them. Unless they face the Colts in the playoffs again.
