    I am in the same boat.  While he did miss on some things he hit well on others.  Ryan doesn't coach tackling, discipline to not hold (Looking at you offensive line), time management, or catching ability in the players. 

     

    I really like Pagano however we need someone who will give the players a strong mindset.

    My goodness, he makes fast guys look slow, this is like watching a faster version of T.Y.Hilton but in the form of an RB, Dri Archer, Kent State. I hope Grigson snags this guy next year.

    Dri Archer accounted for 39.84% of Kent State's total yardage and 45.28% of their touchdowns from from special teams and offense.

    is it bad that i am more worried about a clean JJ Watt than a dirty Suh? if he just wants to sit the last three games of the year to get some rest before the playoffs i would be okay with that. dude scares me and i am just a fan on my couch would hate to be an NFL QB going against him.

    not bad at all. JJ Watt is the only player left that we play on defense that really scares me. To be honest though im not to worried about Suh. He had a great rookie year but since then hes been just ok. Nick Fairley (spelling?) has been the better of the two this year.

    I do not understand how to use the ignore function yet but you are motivating me to do my homework. I wondered why you are here but then I figured that it must have something to do with hostility towards the Colts and them "Owning" your football team for many, many years. I know you have been and are hoping for "vengance" but nothing seems to have changed even though we had a poor football team last year. We have always owned the Texans and until this point you have only hope. We have plenty of time to get our new systems down before we face the "This is the year of the Texans". How many years have the Texans.........."this is the year"?

    Now.......until then you will be ignored.

    Over the past few months being on this forum I have recognized Vance's name and he has never brought any hostility towards the Colts. His questions and opinions have been well written. Lets keep the trash talk on gameday and not in the friendly forums.

    I thought building the monster would have meant being able to both run the ball and stop the run. Our two most glaring defects as a team aside from our secondary.

    There is no Polian to blame now.

    I would have loved to see any of these names on our roster right now:

    Trent Richardson

    Doug Martin

    David Wilson

    Luke Kuechly

    Zach Brown

    Courtney Upshaw

    Any two of these guys would have gone a long way towards "building the monster". Looks like we'll have the #1 pick again next year and some cap space, so we should be phenominal by 2014.

    The only one I agree with is Upshaw just because he was available before we picked Fleener. Thats not saying I dont want Fleener but thats just who I was hoping for. With Freeney and Mathis having maybe a few more great years left I would of liked Upshaw as a replacement.

    I literally walked into my house, changed the channel to the game, looked at the T.V., saw the burn, and walked away. I hate the Cowboys with a passion and this is not a good omen for the season lol.

    I think its right on track. Dallas always starts strong and Giants always end on a strong note. Im with you on the Cowboys....with the exception of Demarcus Ware I hate the Cowboys

    1. I went to the chargers game in 2004 where Peyton broke the (at the time) touchdown record.

    2. Peyton Manning's first regular season win over Ryan Leaf and the Chargers

    3. The Jets game in '09 where we pulled the starters

    I actually had tickets for the Patriots game where we made the epic comeback in 2009, but I sold them because I had an early exam the next day :(

    Came here to say the win against the Pats in 09. Great game...dont remember the first quarter though lol. Heck of a ending though!

    I really liked Fleener coming out of the draft. That being said Allen has impressed me this preseason. IMO Allen will be starting by the end of the year. I still like Fleener though.

    Him coaching up Bethea, who IMO is already one of the top safeties in the league, and Davis should produce amazing results. I am really excited about having an aggressive defensive minded head coach.

    Im with you on Bethea. The dude is a beast and it seems nobody outside the colts talk about him.

    ..and assuming we lose Austin Colie sometime during the season but regain Pat Angerer by midsseason...lets upgrade...

    Will you be willing to eat crow if he ends up having a decent season after all is said and done?

    People need to understand the switch is gonna take time and there not gonna pick it up in spot playing time in the preseason and practice. Let us at least play half the season before we label him a "disaster" especially consider what he has done for this franchise his entire career defensively.

    I agree completly. Freeney has done so much for us and has been positive about the change. Can we not give him a chance before throwing him under a bus? Many linebackers have a 'down' year transitioning their first year. Give him a shot.
