  1. I completely agree with the original post. I like all of our o-line but I think they should try to get Ijalana in at right tackle or possibly when the teams cut down to 53, maybe a vet right tackle could become available and give Ijalana a year to watch and learn. I like Ben, but I think it would be risky starting two rookies at offensive tackle this year, but what do I know. But, I do like the direction that the offensive line is moving. I like Jeff Saturday, but I would like to see Pollack eventually take over as the starting center. But, that may still be a few more years away.

  2. Is it me or are the Colts trying to bring Jeff Linkenbach at Right Tackle? I only caught the beginning of the game and Mathews seem to run right by him a lot. Why are the Colts not trying to start Ijalana in that position? I definately think Reitz has done a solid job of filling the hole at left guard. I think if the Colts can get Ijalana in at right tackle and he plays close to the level that reflects a second round draft pick, that maybe, just maybe, the Colts would be bringing a an offensive line that would allow them to run the ball more effectively.

  3. So, I guess everyone in here has overlooked that the Colts signed Sims? Also, that they traded up in the second round to draft Ijalana to potentially compete at tackle but possibly at a guard position too? I would definately like to see Mclendon find is way into a role as an offensive guard and see the Colts move away from an undersized offensive line who seem to be getting pushed around a bit the last couple of years. I would like to see Tommie Harris and Jamal Andersen be te starters at defensive tackle, but obviously with a rotation of Moala and Antonio Johnson to try to keep these guys fresh all year long, but I can't count out Nevis since he came from a major team in a major college conference. I also don't understand how people say the Colts are stacked at wide receiver. I seem to recall a time when the Colts had Marvin Harrison in his prime, an emerging Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark that allowed Stokely to basically run around free all over the field. I think other than Clark and the Wayne, the other receivers really need to step it up. Gonzalez has show a spark at time, but cannot stay healthy. Garcon looks like he is going to break out, but then has critical drops. I suppose that is another discussion in itself.
