  1. WR is a need for us this draft. Unless we can pick up another receiver in FA that can stretch the field. We lost Garcon if anybody has noticed. We have Reggie, Collie, White and a slew of unknowns that haven't produced in recent seasons. Collie and White are pure and solid slot WRs, but Reggie is our only "deep threat." We definitely need someone with some wheels in this draft.

    QB

    WR/NT

    WR/NT

First 3 round needs imo. Possibly look at OLB depending on availability.

  2. What people don't understand is the difference between Manning's and Luck's arrivals to INDY. PM came in and was able to be the Savior of Indy after several years of drought. Sure we had a couple winning seasons with Harbaugh under center, but nothing truly amazing had happened for the Colts until Peyton's 2nd and successive years behind the mask. The past 13 (cept for last year) years have been laden with WIN after WIN after WIN, and we as Colts fans have been spoiled by that.

Now the greatest QB of all-time is no longer part of OUR team and we are faced with a "Rookie" at the helm yet again. We threw our support behind PM, but most refuse to let go and throw your support behind THIS rookie... Hypocritical is the word used for this reaction. Peyton will always be a COLT no matter where he goes. This is where his legacy was built. Peyton has maybe 4-5 years in him if he doesn't get hurt again, but his best is behind him. The reason we don't have 3 SB rings in his run is because of poor decisions from our GM and VC whom will remain unnamed. They scored big on a couple of picks in their 13 years, but failed to build a consistent championship team around the Greatest... OH.. and thank you Gregg Williams...

Bottom line guys/gals. Luck is it. That's not going to change regardless of how much we cry, /cyberrant or whatever you do to show your frustration. Let's get behind #12 Andrew Luck and roll the dice with the rest of the front office like real fans..

    GONNA MISS YOU PAPA MANNING!!

  3. Williams gets banned for life, SP gets suspended for half the season if not all. I don't see them "stripping" the SB title from New Orleans as that will cause unrest in the South, but I do see the infamous ( * ) Asterisk next to it in the good 'ole books. Saints have to give up picks and quite possibly the 'Skins. Williams has to be one of the biggest durpiddy durps in the league right now. You can't do/allow something like this and expect it NOT to happen. Everybody is looking for their time in the spotlight these days. IT IS GOING TO COME OUT IN THE WASH!

  4. Definition of Overrated: To overestimate the merits of; rate too highly.

With this in mind, EVERY player that has ever come into the league, is, at some point, overrated. And the comment about Freeny being in the Pro Bowl for the last umpteen years... Come on, he had a mediocre season last year and there were at least 3 other DEs that should have been in the Pro Bowl ahead of him based off performance alone. You haven't figured out yet that the voting is based mainly off of people that only know players by name and dont' pay attention to stats at all? I must admit, I voted for two Colts this year for the Pro Bowl and only one of those got in. Pat Angerer tore it up this year and deserved the spot, but others with better known names got in. It's all in the politics.

But, in fairness, I will reply with:

Garcon - Fast, but, runs crap routes and drops waaaay too many passes.

  5. So, I was an Oiler's fan from birth. I grew up on a working farm and did a lot of work with horses. It might sound silly, but I shod horses as one of my chores and loved Horseshoes. I liked the Colts simply for their symbol as a youth. When the Oilers abandoned Houston for Tennessee and a new name, I was at a loss for a team to follow. I refused to follow them (Oilers) to Tennessee, and hate (hate, hate, hate!) the Cowboys. I decided to take up the ole Blue and White in 1996 and haven't looked back. Thank you Indianapolis for having a good ole Texas boy as a fan! GO BLUE!!!

  6. I would love to bring in TO or Moss or even Housh. Heck I'm still not even sold on Garcon at this point and with our two other glass receivers I'll remind you guys of your stance when they go down. I'm not even confident Clark will make it through the whole season so why not get some insurance while we can. It is still early enough in preseason that whoever comes in would get their chance to EARN a starting spot or just a spot on the team not be handed anything. For a team that relies so heavily on their passing attack would be stupid just to stand pat and hope for the best IMO.

People are funny. Collie has a bad season with concussions and he's "glass". Clark, who has had 1 other REAL injury has lost your confidence with a broken wrist. Really?!?!?! Garcon is good when he's good. Gonzo is the only proven piece of "glass" we have as a receiver. Yes, I would love to see Moss brought in on a 1 year deal. Of the 3 listed possibilities, Moss would be our best bet IMO. Still has good speed and ability to win jump balls. TO is old and I am not crazy about Housh. I don't like big mouthed *.

  7. This always baffles me. A guy gets 2-3 reps an entire season, and we just expect him to jump in like he's been doing it all season. I've said before, and I'll say it again, Painter's best chance to prove himself is this preseason. He's been practicing with the 1s, and should have plenty of reps with the 1s over the next few weeks.

Do you watch Preseason games at all? Every preseason game Painter has ever gotten reps in has had the same results. Sub-par results against another team's 2's. HE'S NOT COMFORTABLE in the pocket and doesn't have a good feel for said pocket collapsing. Preseason is HIS time to shine and he has failed more often than not. Like I said, he's decent, but not "OUR GUY". The next 2 years will be ample time to find a good QB prospect and start the grooming process.

  8. We did get some FA shots at DT that I think will do alright for us this year. What we will need to focus on next year imo is LB and CB with a shot at an early WR pick. Yes, I know we have Garcon, Gonzo and Wayne, but Gonzo won't stay healthy and Wayne's contract is up after this season with no guarantee that Polian will retain him. Whereas I don't see Wayne going anywhere, it is always a possibility. We need to start looking at the QB position within the next 2 years. We are going to need to groom the new QB for at least 3 years. I don't think Painter is ever going to be "OUR GUY". He does alright as a backup, but is definitely not a starter for the Colts complex offensive system. He just doesn't look comfortable enough in the backfield. O-line is finally showing some promise, but even that will be left to interpretation as the year unfolds. Looking fairly set for another good run at it long as everybody stays healthy. Get well Manning. I want to see you out there before week 1 if at all possible.

    Blue and White!

  9. polian why the heck did u sign addai back smh i would of rather got ronnie brown true story addai is cool but im not too big on RB that only covert in short yardage 36 percent of the time

Think it might have something to do with the fact that we haven't been a run team in a while and Addai is consistently good at rolling out to the flats for that 2-5 yard gain dump pass? Hmmmm....
