  1. Andrew Luck (A+) - Was an easy pick to make for us but we now have a QB who can lead us through the next generation and potentially take us to Multiple Play Offs and perhaps Superbowls given the right team around him.

Coby Fleener (A) - I wanted Fleener from the start and to me it made perfect sense. He was the best TE available which I believe was our main need after QB, His stats and style of play compare very well with Gronk and look at the impact he made, and argubly Fleener was the BPA at the time as well, and that isn't even mentioning the chemistry with Luck. Great Pick.

Dwayne Allen (A) - I wasn't sure about this pick to begin with as I felt sure we would go defense with it but the more I think about it the more I like it. Luck's options are growing all the time and Allen is a very athletic, talented TE and I think the Pats like offense could work well with them.

TY Hilton (B-) - No problems with the selection of Hilton, although I felt again there were some good defense options, but can't see why we felt the need to trade up for him, unless someone before us took the guy we were after. Having said that, he will bring a good return game so could be a good selection.

Josh Chapman (A-) - This guy is a serious talent and the only reason I haven't given him an A+ is the concern over his injury but if he can stay fit then this is an absolute steal in a position of great need.

Vick Ballard © - No problem with the taking of a RB to provide an extra option but not convinced we got the right one with Polk still available. I hope he comes good for us and he may do but can't help thinking we got this one wrong.

Lavon Brazill © - Seemed a strange pick to me with Avery, Hilton, Collie and Wayne all here already but I suppose it shows the plans that we have for this year. Nothing against him personally but don't think he is better than any of the 4 already mentioned and think we should have gone elsewhere with this pick where there were still a few decent players on the board.<p>

  2. I like this a lot although I think there is enough depth at NT to enable us to use a 3rd round pick on either a WR or CB (This is assuming Fleener does fall to us in the 2nd which I still have doubts that he will still be on the board). The fact is that right now we have an offense that needs to be built up around Luck but at the same time we are changing from a defence that relied on speed to one that relies a lot more on bulk. We can not possibly deal with all the positions we need in one draft even with 10 picks. After Luck, I will be happy to have any 2nd round talent and then 3rd round talent etc in positions that we desperately need.

  3. Am I missing something here but everyone is saying that Fleener is overrated because he played with Luck for Stanford and without him he wouldn't be as effective but the fact is that come Thursday night, We will have Andrew Luck as our starting QB so surely Fleener is a perfect fit. The TE class is not exactly brimming with talent this year and with Eldridge being an effective player but not a major receiver, Fleener is exactly what we need. I personally will be delighted if Fleener falls to us.
