The four teams on another level to us are Sea, Denver, NE and SF. The first three are still busy in FA and adding a lot of pieces to already talented rosters while SF have done a bit of business and are absolutely loaded with draft picks which we are not. Way too quiet for my liking when we have 2 serious holes to fill and numerous depth issues at other positions.

And with the first pick of the 2015 NFL draft, the Oakland Raiders select....
-
Would rather wait it out and pick someone up in the draft for half the price. Bailey is finished
-
So far so good, way off with cap numbers and have lost out on Asamoah but definitely can find someone similar. Get the C too and then draft a WR,S and NT.

5 years $14 million

Right I was looking at our team last night and identified the remaining holes. After the signing of Jackson, the tenders offered to Gordy, Reitz and Johnson and the release of Satele I'm thinking and guessing our cap is just over $36 million.
Re-signings:
Vontae Davis 5 years $40 million ( Brent Grimes numbers)
Ahmad Bradshaw?Donald Brown 3 years $9 million
Pat McAfee 5 years $12.5 million
Adam Vinatieri 2 years $4 million
Sergio Brown 4 years $4.8 million
Remaining Cap: $19.3 million
Signings:
Arthur Jones 4 years $24 million
Evan Dietrich Smith 4 years $20 million
Jon Asamoah 4 years $12 million
$5.3 million left over for the draft:
2nd round: Jarvis Landry WR
3rd round: Dion Bailey S
5th round: Philip Gaines CB
6th round: Colt Lyerla TE
7th round: James Gayle DE
Decided to get much younger on the D side.

Why not sign a cheap experienced C to be backup and start with Holmes this year? Would save a lot against the cap and if he struggled the other C would be very capable of filling in.
-
Hate to see anyone losing their job but he didnt deserve the money he was getting. $4 million saved now and a good ILB signing its a good day!

Colts fan for nearly five years now. Friend got me into the sport and showed me a few games. Saw Peyton and Reggie lighting it up on O and Mathis and Freeney running down QB's and fell instantly in love with this team.
-
Absolutely love this tbh!
-
I dont care how much we overpay for him, would be some addition. Would help Landry to no end either.
-
Would love to get him but way bigger needs to be addressed first. If then the needs are met, i wouldn't mind spending somewhat for him.
-
This is probably the perfect signing. Let him come in, do a good job and doesnt hurt us cap wise in the future. Also gives Holmes a chance to develop and maybe become our starter then. Probably come cheaper than Satele anyways!
-
Would love to go Corner in the second round, Baptiste would be my perfect pick here.
ILB in the third and definitely go with Skov
-
He doesnt look like he would cut it in the NFL for me. Mettenberger on the other hand has all the attributes, could see him being a steal wherever he goes.
-
Dansby would be a perfect fir for this D in beside Freeman. FO should go all out to get him now that Butler is off the market. $6 million per year should do it.
-
Definitely think it gives us the luxury of picking up a marquee player or two. with the increase i too wouldn't mind seeing Decker brought in for $9 million per year. Get a centre such as the GB guy for 6.5 and maybe a cheap guard for competition for 4, that makes for an awesome offence imo. That leaves 20 million for defence so could resign Davis for 8, get a safety for 6 and an ILB for another 6. Then go BPA in the draft and get some depth at D line.
Why are we so quiet?

I have liked Grigs work this offseason and happy with all his moves but there still is a serious amount of work to be done on the team, cant believe people cant see that. We only have 5 picks in the draft, 2 in the first 100, we wont get much if anything to fill our holes, max 2 first day starters at best. C and G still need addressing on the line and we definitely need depth at NT,CB and OLB to go along with a starting S.
