  1. I'm proud of the Colts making it to the AFC Championship game. I could also be alright with the loss. What I'm not alright with is that the Colts constantly lose to the Pats. It's like they're under hypnosis. I'm not taking into account any former rivalry (Manning years). I'm talking about Luck years. It's interesting to hear the opinion of anyone who makes decisions in the organization. What do they think it will take to actually beat powerhouse teams? I heard Ricky Jean saying they need to pay more attention to details. I thought all details should have been brought to the teams attention prior to the game. What makes me want to pull my hair out is the pregame locker talks here on Colts.com where they talk about how they've dotted all of the i's and crossed all the t's. How they know what the Patriots have been doing to them and how they had a great week of preparation but in the game look totally unprepared. If the Colts would have been competitive I don't think as many people would be complaining.

On a side note... While Steeler fans keep running their big mouths about 6 rings, the 49ers, the Pats, the Cowboys all reflecting on their team legacy, not one fan on earth of any team is saying "hey do you remember that fantastic year the Colts got 4th place?"

  2. That was terrible to get embarrassed like that. What's worse is that the Colts are not even close to the Pats league. It doesn't look like the Colts will win against the Pats for years to come.

Save the I'm not a real fan crap or bleed blue or whatever it is that people that accept losing have to save. I spend hard earned money on this team with all of the merchandise I buy. The tickets and the 5 hour drive to show support. And for what? As soon as Andrews new deal gets worked out he will be the top paid player in the league. Meanwhile, Brady takes pay cuts and gets his team to the Super Bowl year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year.

  3. Two teams coming off a bye. No excuses. Colts at home. Shame in front of the home town crowd and shame in front of a national audience. I don't want to hear about loyalty or bleeding blue or the 24 hour rule. I've been witnessing this crap for over 20 years and I am sick of it. Big name players with a crap result. We'll win the 6 divisional games and a few against middle of the road teams to make the playoffs and then after our confidence is good and high, a real team will play us and show us what we were really about. "Bring the noise" ha, bring a team worth cheering for. Advertised all week for the let down performance. What was being done during the bye week? Did we even study the Patriots? How did the Colts not gain a sense of urgency after the first Patriot drive? Should Harrison be the starting center? How can we have better ball security when we are in "sure points" range. Most won't admit this but Luck throws a lot of picks when the Colts are in field goal range. Why can't the line block well enough to get 2 yards on 3 plays. What part of the D is having trouble stopping the run? Is it one guy, 2 guys, scheme, not enough guys in the box? Will Darius Butler ever have consistency? Wow Jerry Hughes is doing well for the Bills, what ever happened to Kelvin Sheppard? I think I would have rather seen Brady light us up than to watch a no-name rush for a career game on us. Seems all too often that someone has a career day on us. How about Big Ben putting up 6 TDs on us. Vontae got hurt and the whole ship went down. It was easy for everyone to get over because we played the bum Giants the following week. The Colts will smash Jacksonville next week and everyone will go back to pretending like the problems have been corrected. It really sucks knowing that our only hope at winning anything in the post season, is if some mediocre team can knock of both the Patriots and the Broncos. We clearly have no chance at beating either one of those teams on the road.

  4. Most of you are fooling yourselves. I've been a diehard fan since the Colts moved to Indy. Every year I'm applauding them for a great season when we lose our final game, but this season has made my blood boil. We will never have a good defense. Can any of you name one year that our defense was top 10? How about top 15? We get good individuals but are terrible as a team on D. How about offensive line? Costonzo will continue getting beat on the left side. The coaching staff does not seem to think Satele sucks for some reason. All season the coaches have been talking about getting gains on 1st and 2nd down to make 3rd manageable when the truth is, we get great gains on 1st down and squander the next two downs and have to punt.  As far as D on 3rd down its even worse. D can have a team backed up 3rd and 15 and give up the big play for a first down.

Remember "run the ball, stop the run"? We didn't run on any team the entire year and didn't stop anyone's run game.

On a good note, kickoff coverage did improve this year.

  5. Donald Brown is pure hustle. If he gets enough carries, he is going to eventually bust something big. He has the ability to be a featured back which becomes more evident as our o-line gets more solid with the run blocking and as the focus on the run has increased under Pep. I actually favor Donald over all other backs on our team. It is crucial that we use him increasingly throughout the season and for many seasons to come.

  6. Colts fan from Ohio here. Been a loyal fan since around 87. Most people in my area are Steeler fans. I hate the Steelers even worse than the Pats. Ever since Directv came out with Sunday Ticket my friend has subscribed and we've watched Colts games at his house. Win or lose I've always remained a fan and always will.
