Ok, huge problem with this thought. D.Clark dropped a lot of balls, on this I agree (watched every game last year) but the QB throwing did not always make it easy to catch. However, I saw a lot of dropped balls last year. I understand wanting to get younger, but you do not want to bring in you so called franchise QB and have nothing for him to depend on. What is Tamme gets hurt, who will be the tight end? Clark is a huge weapon. so who will Luck throw to? you have Tamme, you have Austin Collie, but then who? Gonzales???? White???? I hate to say it because I am a huge BYU fan, but Collie is just one more head trama away from retirement, Gonzales has not played a meaningful down since he came into the league, white also spends a lot of time on the injured list. Your wide recievers corps, is a joke at this point, unless your going to spend some money and pick up some free agents, I see Luck throwing to himself next yeat.

As for D. Freeney, your defense is not that good as it is, we all saw that last year. The bright side however was the two D Ends, it brings fear into the hearts of QB's to know either one is a sack monster. At least keeping him would give you a strong nucleus on the line to start with and can build around. Without him your running on hopes that Mathis can make it through the year, have 15 sacks, and so on.

I understand you want to rebuild, but gutting your entire orginization is not the way to do it. You need your fans to believe in what your doing, you want perspective players to believe that they have some hope of winning soon or they will not want to play for the Colts. Seriously, what if Luck looked at the situation and said "you can draft me but I wont play for your team"? Then what will the Colts do? You just saved a ton of money by releasing Manning, Pierre G. is not resigning, Dallas Clark gone, Reggie Wayne GONE, Jeff Saturday most likely Gone, how much more do you need to be under the cap? are you planning on fielding a team next year?

Look at all the stars out there hoping Manning comes to their team, they want to play beside a future HOF QB, one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game, how many free agents are out there saying "SIGN ME< SIGN ME, to the colts? NONE. Give your self some hope

If the video and the various reports are correct and Peyton is throwing the way it appeared then I believe you made a huge mistake. I understand that decisions needed to be made and that in the end it is not what you did for me last year but what you did for me lately.

However, I think the way the Colts organization handled this entire situation was deplorable at best. You do not have the Lucas oils Stadium without Manning, you do not have the banners hanging in your building without Manning, your team would not have been feared if #18 was not the QB. The owner has become another J. Jones, all about his ego not what's best for the team.

If you were going to release Manning it should have been done in such a way as to show class, you have shown none Mr. Owner. For this story to be leaked and reported through Yahoo Sports is again deplorable. Good Luck in the future, I hope Luck turns out to be as good as he looked in college, but then again how many QB's have turned out that good? very few, and now you have lost one of the greatest QB's in NFL History and a long time fan (fan before Manning was a pro).

I will be sending you all the Colts gear I have collected over the past 20 years to make room for the new Manning Gear. I hope you enjoy a 1 and 15 record next year, and I doubt you make the post season any time soon. oh and I hope Manning delivers the promise he made when he was drafted, I hope he kicks your butt every time he plays you.
