  1. Agreed. But my beef is with those who played it up as a head stomp. It amazes me how some will take an incident, and exagerate it, and the exagerated version becomes the real story. Football is a highly spirited game; and Suh is a young and emotional player. He let his emotions control his reactions in the heat of battle and it cost him & the Lions. He is very talented & he will learn.from his mistakes. His passion is going to make him one of the greatest DT's to ever play the game. If he can stay healthy.

  2. Youtube had the video but removed it; because they claim it violated youtube terms. I did find it and it appears to be a total instigation acting job on the part of Packer players. The Green Bay o-linemen executed a wrestling arm bar drag down meneuver on Suh and Suh wound up on the bottom of a pile. He was trying to get back to his feet & Packer players started shoving him as said o_lineman appeared to try to untie Suh's shoe. Suh tried to jerk his foot away and was accused of stomping. If there was a stomp; it was the guys arm. NOT HIS HEAD!

  3. The play where Suh supposedly kicked a down player last thanksgiving game was way overhyped. I watched it. The Packers o-linemen was trying to untie Suh's shoe and looked more like Suh was trying to pull his foot away from said Packer player. It was more like an arm stop; but Packer fans & media played it up as a head stomp. Watch the video if it's still available. Great players are always hated. I hate Julius Peppers, Ray Lewis, & Jared Allen. But I have to give it up for them; they are all great players.

  4. No. That would be doing what San Diego did with the Giants where a trade was initiated that sent Eli Manning to the Giants for Philip Rivers; and Drew Breez to the Saints. The Giants and Saints got the better end of that trade off.The top QB honors of the NFL is going to be between Andrew Luck & Matthew Stafford IMO.

  5. From 1st pick overall, to playoffs? Does'nt often happen. With that said; I followed Andrew Luck the last two years, and he reminds a lot of a young Peyton Manning. His ability makes the whole team play beyond they're potential. He'll win some games & the colts will lose some as a team. But wildcard is very possible because of the Luck factor.

  6. I am a Lions/Colts fan. My favorite NFC/AFC Teams. I for one, would love to see a Lions/Colts Super Bowl. I'd be happy no matter who won the game. I find it interesting to say the least that Lacey is now a Lion; and Drew Stanton is now a Colt. I like Drew Stanton; he has a strong arm and is mobile. if I had a choice of Orlovsky vs Stanton; all I can say is a quote from my friend Southpaw; "I never seen Drew Stanton run out of the back of the end zone."

  7. I'm not a fan of that idea at all. I would much rather keep Painter than give away a 3rd or 4th rounder for a back-up.

I agree. I thought Stanton was a Restricted F/A; but as it turns out, he is an Unrestricted F/A and Stanton said perhaps it's time to think about moving on. So if the front office is interested they can probably pick him up pretty cheap. In my opinion, he's an upgrade from Orlovsky simply for his mobility making him a more then adequate backup; and if the Colts retain Peyton Manning he could develop into a servicable backup to Luck. I believe the Lions drafted him in the 2nd round when they picked him.

  8. Don't cut Peyton. If he's not going to be a part of the Colts system anymore, get something for him. He proved in his video that he can still throw the deep ball: Miami is interesed in him: shop him as a trade prospect, and then contact Miami's front office and offer them Peyton for their 1st round pick. If they refuse; offer Arizona Peyton + a 5th round pick for Fitzgerald. If you're parting with Peyton Manning; get some compesation value for him.

  9. Hello folks. I'm new here but have been a lifetime Colts / Lions fan. Who will be Luck's backup in the event of a freak injury? Hmmmm....... how about trading a 3rd or 4th round draft pick to the Lions for Drew Stanton? The Lions are considering trading him away. He has a great arm (albeit; he aint no Matthew Stafford) but he can throw into tight spots with accuracy; and he's a lot more mobile then Orlovsky.
