I'm dreading Sunday night. I'm expecting a very rough game.
The only good thing about this game is ,I got Ben on my fantasy team, & it'll probably put in first place by games end.

but I would almost rather see the Colts lose at this point. I can already tell the Colts have virtually no shot at a playoff birth even with some improvement. I won't be actually rooting against them but I won't mind if they lose as many games as possible if it accomplishes two things I want this year.b That we will win the Luck sweepstakes and that we will get an entire new coach and coaching staff which will hopefully lead to a whole new defensive philosophy. I don't expect Manning back this year at all but if those couple of things happen next year this won't totally be a wasted season. Go ahead and slam me but I think losing a lot is the only way we are going to get rid of the current coaching staff so every loss puts us closer to that possibility IMO.
The coaching staff will not be blamed for any failure this year,do to the fact PM is not there,the front office will over look any thing they do ..If they win it'll be the coaching,if they lose,it'll be PM isn't there.The coaching staff will stay another year,unfortunatly.

The only way we can win a game is by the defense.If they can't make big plays like they use to, they will not win one stinkin game,!

Of first of all I want to clarify that I'm watching the game on delay. I always record the games on my dvr and start watching about an hour into it so I can skip through all the commercials. Right now I'm about halfway through the thrid quarter. So keep that in mind in case things have changed significantly in the late 3rd quarter up to where ever the game is now in real time.
During halftime, the only offensive highlight was the sack on Collins and talked about the Colts offensive line woes. They conveniently avoided showing any of the plays where Collins had adequate time to throw. Even the sack I would also put at least to some degree on the coverage. Yeah the DT for the Browns made a great move but Collins could have gotten rid of the ball if someone had been open and he didn't make the decision quickly enough to just throw it away so it wound up being a sack.
They also didn't mention the ypc average of Carter and Addai. Both so far have excellent ypc averages and are doing very well and the OL I would say has done a much better job of blocking for him.
They also during halftime and now so far through the 3rd quarter keep talking about Hillis and his powerful runs and tough yards but they have said nothing of the fact that he's averaging less than 3 ypc so far. And several of the yards he's gotten were simply because he's so powerful that he's able to get an extra couple of yards even when contacted by multiple defenders.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we've all of a sudden turned everything around and our OL and defense are perfect, but man it does kind of feel like they just want to make the Colts sound like they're horrible.
Dude this team is horrible on both sides of the ball . The coaching staff is a joke . I feel sorry for the season ticket holders that paid big money to watch this crap for a whole year.We had many competitive seasons because we had the best qb to ever play the game but w/ o him we are pathetic.I also feel bad for guys like Freeney &Mathis who will have to play out this season knowing they will finish last in the league. They have nothing to play for the next 14 games.The only thing we can hope for is not to be beat embarrassingly every week. if we can't beat the browns ,ther's no one on the schedule we can beat other than the jags.They should keep 5 or 6 running backs & run every play,at least that will keep the clock going on the season.If we can get coach Cohwer over here & dick lebeau( can't spell their names)get Luck & draft better we might have a chance next few years.Boy , Orioles Colt fan in NY ,it's gonna suck between the Yankee & jet fans in my neighborhood.

The colts have road on the coat tails of manning for so long. The truth is we havent been a good draft day in soo long. We need new front office . They have proven there arragance no bigger example than this year

Can someone please tell me why Tom Moore would end up working for the hatedJets if he was suppose to retire? Did he get an offer he couldn't refuse?Is he mad at the Colts organization?Is he gonna betray the Jets & give them bad advice?I only hope it's the the case at least.

The texans scare me.Does anyone else think that they might be a monster in the afc south ,with their signing of wade Phillips,their drafting of defense& their already powerful running & passing game?First game of the season in Houston , colts tough schedule , I hope the colts pound them the first game to gain that edge & don't give texans any dumb ideas of taking the conference.Go Colts!!!!

Great game by the defense.Haven't seen them so inspired to out play a team like that in a long time.Very proud!Officials missed a few calls that woulda helped us ,particulary A hold on Mathis on the last drive,ridiculous.I also don't think Painter is the answer but he gives us a better shot to score points than Collin does,with a few games in ,his nerves might just go away & confidence might come in for once in his life.Because of the tough schedule this year I know we'll get a high draft choice next year but if they play like they did against Pittsburg every game ,they won't go 0-16 like I thought they would after last week.
