[Irsay Gives Peyton Update In The Middle Of The Game]

No qb will fit our system like Peyton but we better find someone that can learn the system and quick. I would love a Vince Young or someone that can run and gun. Painter is not good and once the Colts Org admit this then they can move on and acquire a qb for our offense. How long do we have to wait on them to realize that we need a qb? Some of the other teams back up qbs are looking good but painter what a joke.

I have been looking at other teams and some seem to have gotten better. I am not saying we are not studs still, but did we get any better then from last year?

Unless we count on the injured playing again full time this year, But besides that I am not sure we have.

We are going to miss Clint and Dan. I do not think that was smart from our organization but we will see. I would have loved to pick-up a quarterback. If Peyton is not ready when the season starts we are in "big trouble mister". But I am ready for the season to start. GO COLTS.

no we've lost our best safety (Bob Sanders), our best cornerback (Kelvin Hayden), our best linebacker (Clint Session), and now Dan Muir. Our defense is going to blow if we dont pick anyone up

I agree. We should not have gotten rid of Clint nor Muir and we are going to feel it. Hayden and Sanders did not see much playing time because of injuries and I am not sure if they will be missed. I like Kelvin H but I am not sure.

[Can you blame the colts for not going after FA's?]

Well the problem is thy sign last minute FA or players that just got released. They could probably go after some decent FA and put alittle money behind it, just not grab some cheap player that was just booted off another team yesterday.

I agree and we need a back-up quaterback. I hope that Peyton is ready because I want him healthy for the 2011 season. I would have loved Deangelo Williams to come to Indy. Hank-what a joke and an embarrassment to our organization.
