  1. Maybe Manning stays. Maybe not. It would nice if Luck and Manning could coexist.

Here is the deal fans should remember that football is still a business and in order for your business to run efficiently you have to prepare for the future. The colts have been extremely fortunate to have the QB position solidfied for the past 14 yrs, but now it's time to make a difficult decision. One that could alter the course of this franchise for years to come. Number #18 arguably the best to ever lace'em up, but MJ was let go to the wizards; B. Farve to the jets; A-Rod to the yanks and Montana to the Chiefs. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

  2. Does Irsay read these threads? The only place I've heard about Moss to the Colts is on here...

Moss even at age 34 can still take the top off any defense. The only reason his production has dropped is because he demands so much attention.

Colts have not had a true deep threat since the departure of M. Harrison #88.

Without the a deep threat, Corners will always play off and sqwat on the underneath stuff they can take more risk.

  3. What a great switch up for the Saints. Bush isn't a legit NFL RB, but he has some serious applications in the return game and receiving out of the back field. Looking back, I cannot believe the hype this kid had coming into the league. You'd have thought he was the second coming of Jebus.

Sproles is special, IMO. Always liked him.

A 4 year $14 million dollar deal, he comes much cheaper than Bush.

On a slightly related note: When are these NFL players going to learn to keep their mouths shut on these social networking websites?

The Sproles pick-up was brilliant and they didn't have to over pay. In a league thats progressive you've got to get better each year.

  4. You don't win super bowls is correct but you also don't win super bowls by not doing anything! They need to sign free agents that make sense, acquire difference makers via trades and develop their own young players.

You may have a point here, but you alao can't expect #18 to continue being whodini in the 4th quarter. Teams acquire free agents to get better today not 3-4 years later. There were players available that could have made an immediate impact.
