Should New England beat Houston on Monday Night Football. Next Sunday will be an epic battle for the Colts to stay alive in the race for the division title. Due to the Colts loss to the Jacksonville Jags earlier in the season, we'll have to beat Houston twice to take the head-to-head tie-breaker.
This assumes we can beat Kansas City.

Hindsight is 20/20. (btw, 20/20 is not perfect vision) but I heard a lot of complaining last january. I was cool with it, as I've always been because I'm a Colts fan. Win or lose, I bleed blue. It seems we lost a few fans along the way, but then again, they weren't true fans.
Don't forget, that now we have an excuse to follow the Broncos and watch even more football

What was wrong with my answer? There's a bunch of denver area bars. And if you actually pay attention, one of those bars was rated #1. Sorry, it's too ez.
Some of us enjoy when people recommend hidden gems that serve craft beer where a local fans with my teams loyalty gather. Google can't tell me that.

I'm headed to Denver next week and hoping to find a good sports bar to catch the Colts Thursday night game on NFL Network. Any recommendations on a good sports bar in the downtown Denver area?

After the Patriots-Ravens game, Bill Belichick grabbed one of the officials.
Do you think he should be suspended for 1 game (since we would've been ejected from his current game, but it was over)? Or will the NFL just fine him.

Yes I believe there will be a Colts-Patriots game this year because I believe it is the Colt's turn to play the AFC East.

Folks - chill out about Tom Moore - the guy lives in Hilton Head. Nothing's wrong with a bunch of old buddies getting together and enjoying a basketball game. We aren't EPSN - no need to read deeply into everything.

If Jim Irsay was going to release/cut Peyton Manning and let him go to another NFL franchise, why in the world would he continue to allow Manning to utilize team facilities, team trainers, and team doctors (costing Irsay money) in order to "rehab" himself to play for a team that would compete against Irsay's.
Irsay has very obviously NOT made a decision on the future of Peyton Manning.

Folks, the cap hit is NOT 10.6 million if released. When we release manning, the remaining signing bonus accelerates into the current year. $16 million is the cap hit if we RELEASE him.

Irsay can't call him until after the Ravens are out of the playoffs. But I hope he does.
I'm not sure where this notion comes from because it's not true in the slightest.

It's not a rule that he can't interview while the team is still playing, but it is a rule that they'd have to have permission from his current employer. It's unlikely they'd give permission with the post season still ongoing, though teams on byes have occasionally done as much.
But it's not like the team isn't looking right now. Wasn't there just a report that they had interest in interviewing Jeff Foster, one of the guys who runs the Combine?
I would argue just the opposite - if the Packers think they'd lose their Director of Player Development before the draft they'd want to lose him as quickly as possible so they could get someone else in that role to prepare for the NFL Draft. Player Development isn't doing mission critical work during the playoffs besides preparing for the draft.

Manning is going to be traded.. best for him and for us.. We are rebuilding.. in 2 more years we won't even remember Manning ever existing.
That's not possible with the salary cap implications of a trade.

The only way we don't get Jeff Fisher is A) Irsay can't work things out with him or B) Another team offers a GM/HC job and Fisher really wants that.

One million minds are better than one... Maybe he just skims for ideas... There are some pretty creative (or crazy) people on these boards...
And Obama reads the NY Times comments sections to get ideas - he ignores his millions of dollars in highly trained staff to read opinions of the common man.

Because being #1 is alot more fun than being #2 - guess who gets the credit when things go right.

I have a feeling it was more along the lines of - Jim Irsay didn't feel confident in Chris Polian as his General Manager - his father didn't want to let his son leave on his own therefore he left as a package with him. Bills dream was to retire and pass that job along to his son - since he no longer had a reason to work towards that goal - he's going to retire.
Concerned a bit about Irsay....
