I have seen a lot of posts asking how many we will keep at each position -- so I decided to attempt to put a 53 man roster together and this is what I came up with. The hardest position to choose for me was RB -- I like Rainey's potential as a kick-returner and the fact that he is a bit different style of running back than the other 3 but I had to cut him to allow for more on defense -- I see us keeping 6 WR's instead of 4 RB's as Whalen and Brazzill can handle return duties. I was also kind of torn at LB -- I think we will keep around 9 total, and I think at ILB we are set with our starters in Freeman and Jackson but between Harvey, McNary, and Sheppard I had a tough time deciding -- same at OLB -- I think we will definitely see Mathis, Werner, and Walden make the squad -- I personally was impressed with Studebaker and thought Cam Johnson was pretty good last year, but it seems like our mgmt is very high on Adongo's potential so I think he makes it over Studebaker and Hickman. I hated to cut Pendleton at DT, but I don't see him making our squad this year. The reason I only kept 6 OL is that I can see Werner or Adongo rotating in at DE on obvious pass-rush situations.
We have 5 draft picks and I project 4 of them crack our roster -- S, OT, C, and DE. While creating this, I think we have glaring needs a C and S and we could definitely improve depth at OG/OT (I saw one mock with us taking David Yankey, OG/OT from Stanford in round 2 -- I would be ecstatic about that pick as he can play both G and T). Of course, there is probably room for upgrade at every position on our team except QB, but after that I would say we are pretty set with depth at LB, WR, TE, and DT. I think we could definitely use improvements at DE and CB, although I am pretty happy with our first 4 DB's (assuming Toler is healthy) of Davis, Toler, Butler, and Gordy. **Note: This is all subject to change with any significant injuries.
QB (2) -- Luck, Hasselbeck
RB (3) -- T-Rich, Ballard, Bradshaw
FB (1) -- Havilli
WR (6) -- Wayne, Nicks, TY, Rodgers, Brazzill, Whalen
TE (3) -- Allen, Fleener, Doyle
OT (4) -- Cherilus, Castonzo, Nixon, Rookie
OG (4) -- Thomas, Thornton, Reitz, Louis
C (2) -- Holmes, Rookie
K (1) -- Vinatieri
P (1) -- McAffee
LS (1) -- Overton
DE (3) -- Jones, Redding, Rookie
DT (3) -- Chapman, Jean-Francois, Hughes
ILB (4) -- Freeman, Jackson, McNary, Sheppard
OLB (5) -- Mathis, Werner, Adongo, Walden, Johnson
CB (5) -- Davis, Toler, Gordy, Butler, Price
S (4) -- Landry, Howell, Brown, Rookie
Practice Squad (5)
Muamba, Cameron White, Burley, Rookie x 2
darick rogers should be there as well

o line wharton mack & draft the rest
-
sign here nicks :rulez:
-
If the Colts sign Nicks, does it mean that Grigs does not have faith in the guys he drafted or he doesn't have faith in the coaching staff to develop the guys he drafted?
no it means he knows reggie running out of time
-
Well sort of. He was replaced because of injuries not because of his play.
idk bout that he had the 4 botched snap game ( check internet highlight reel ) lol
-
Just make dang sure the Browns don't hoodwink us again on another bad trade please!!!

i agree his "highlight" reel looked nice who knows he could find a spark with luck & could be special or could be the first guy waived but dont just count the kid out before he has even hit the feild smhGive the guy a chance

If He Didnt Miss The FG Vs Jags That Game Coulda Been Won It Woulda Made Our Last Drive About Eating Clock Not Getting Points I Dont Think Its Cut Time But We Should Look Into A Replacement During Offseason

One Of My FAV Td's In The Last Few Years
Nothing Against Peyton But When We Got A Back Who Can Draw Attention Off Receivers Enuff To Open Em Up Like That We Need To Use It More
Just Imagine Down By 5 Brady Picked Off Peyton Leads Team Down To The 23 With 36 Secs Left On The Clock 3rd & 7 Peyton Takes The Snap Hands It To Joeseph Live & Let Addai He Rolls Out Austin Collie Is Wide Open Down The Middle Joe See's It Breaks A Tackle & Lets It Fly The Ball Is Deflected By Chung Its Up For Grabs Dallas Clark Steals It Out Of Mid Air On The 2 & Falls In The End Zone For The TD omg Can U Beleive It The Colts Are Going To Get Out Of Here With A Win & Stay Undefeated Can Anyone Stop Them Know Final Score 37-35 Indy What A Day That'll be A Web Gem
Just Some Optimistic Thinking Why Didnt They Just Ask Joe To Be The back Up QB lol he Knows Offense Better Then Painter hehe
