  1. that reggie, garcon, and jeff saturday are not re-signing with the colts this season? garcon already turned one deal down.....reggie keep hinting he wants to follow peyton especially if it's miami and saturday is peyton's best friend so he would want to go anyway.....what are ya'll thoughts?

  2. I will never like jim again in life.....he contradicts so much it makes no sense then to just lie for no reason at all......I think he made his decision when he heard peyton had a 4th surgery and he got nervous smh......I'm not putting my faith in luck now because he hasnt shown me anything yet but we will see

  3. I've provided plenty of reasons expressing why I feel they are.

and I saw it but that's how you feel....truth is clark is the go to man for a quick completion which is great for the offense since we dont have a realiable running game and freeney is a beast period....not so much on the run but every player has their own flaw anyway

  4. Yes he was a monster from the 2006 playoffs through 2009. And like I said, he's one of my favorite Colts. But he hasn't been productive since then. And honestly, his production is replaceable. Austin Collie showed that in 2010, at least when he was on the field. Dallas is 32, and probably won't get back to his previous level of play. I think the smart thing to do is to release him, take the cap savings, and replace him by keeping Tamme, drafting an athletic tight end, and maybe getting into secondary free agency. All that together would probably cost about half of what Clark will next season.

And then the savings get even bigger in 2013.

Naw bruh dallas clark is one of kind some may come close but not like him his speed for a TE is fast which is why alot of LB's have a hard time covering him and he's too strong for a safety or cornerback.....this is why I really think mathis may get cut....offensively the colts are good (besides the running game) but defensively we're terrible and I think alot of changes will be on the defensive side....I mean tamme is good but he's not as fast he's probably a better blocker than clark but clark has the experience which peyton would really like to have if they come to an agreement on the contract but we will find out soon enough

  5. Clark hasn't played at a high level since 2009. Still one of my favorite players, but he's a cap liability at this point. I'd be very surprised if he's still a Colt next season.

Ok you're talking 2 years going into 3....you cant blame dallas clark for getting injuried in 2010 because he was a beast before he got hurt....I'm telling you dallas is a top 5 TE and he proves it each year beside this past season

  6. You didn't quote him correctly.

He said he was trying to get better.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning said he has no plans to retire and that his recovery from neck surgery is on schedule.

Manning told a group of reporters that he threw on Tuesday morning and the session went well.

"I really feel good," Manning said in an interview televised by ESPN. "I continue to make progress every day. Everything the doctors have told me has been on point.”

As for talk about his retirement, Manning said it's premature.

He said he likely will meet with Colts owner Jim Irsay soon to discuss his future with the team. But Manning said it was too soon to tell how his predicament would be resolved.

“That’s hard for me to answer," Manning said.

It's been a tumultuous month for the Colts, and Manning continued to cast a shadow over this week's Super Bowl, the first in Indianapolis.

Most of the Patriots and Giants said they're not paying attention to speculation that Manning's career could be over, but it's hard to miss.

    Where is Peyton's place?

p_manning_120130_65x90.jpgIf Peyton Manning splits from the Colts, he'll have suitors. But one group of fans isn't waiting. They're telling Manning they want him now. More...

Giants quarterback Eli Manning said Tuesday he hoped to see his brother make a comeback as a member of the Colts.

Cooper Manning, Peyton's other brother, told NFL Network's Albert Breer that Manning was determined to return to play next season. But a recent report by Yahoo! Sports said that the nerves in Manning's arm are not healing in a way that would indicate he can come back to action.

After last week's public spat between the Colts quarterback and team owner Jim Irsay, the two issued a joint statement in hopes of tamping down publicity leading up to the Super Bowl.

NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported last Saturday that the Colts decided weeks ago to move on without Manning.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

No bruh I didnt that's what he said

  7. I agree that Peyton deserves the chance to finish what he started. This is the house that Peyton built. If he's healthy enough to go next year, he's our QB. I've accepted the drafting of Luck or RGIII, but either could use the tutilage and example of Peyton Manning. 28 million...SO WHAT!!! New England pays Tom Brady that kind of contract AND they used their 3rd rounder on a QB in last years draft. With the way the rookie scale works this year, we shouldn't be paying much more than NE does at the QB position. We could cut some other contract weight by releasing Dallas Clark, Gary Brackett, Melvin Bullitt, and signing Dwight Freeney to a more cap friendly deal.

You must be crazy if the colts will cut clark.....he's peyton go to guy when the situation gets real heavy....maybe brackett he's getting old....bullitt is still good use to us especially when the defense is about to get better but for some reason I really think they may let mathis go I dont know why but that's my opinion
