Yep people often forget the Colts were regressing under Mora until Dungy came in.  Seems like people over look the impact Dungy had on those Colts teams for some reason.  He was the missing peace to make them an elite franchise for a long time.

    He was overrated.

  2. I didn't have any expectations, just was somewhat excited about AR, possibly being a future franchise QB. Short lived in 2023.

As far as the Colts season, they simply overachieved in a season with a lot of bad to mediocre teams, and maybe 2-4 good ones. The roster still looks weak, except for the OL and DL.

This is his third year.  They’ve been a disaster each year and coming into this year he is already in the hot seat in Houston.  He’s still not a very good GM.  He has had 5 first round picks in the past 2 years and still took him getting lucky this year with Stroud.

He's wasn't nor is he on the hot seat. GMs get about 5 years to turn a franchise around, unless their name is Chris Ballard. CB gets 10-15 I'm assuming.

Got lucky drafting Stroud? Okay, And his other picks have been solid. I guess that's why they a playoff team and the Colts aren't.

Nothing really matters until the QB position is settled, and sadly, it's far from settled.

I honestly thought I was the only who felt this way. AR played 4 games, and there are people who are convinced he's the next Lamar Jackson.

I don't know how long Houston's GM has been there, but they may very well win the division today in Year 1 with their HC/QB combo.

The Colts overachieved this season, within a season of a lot of bad football teams. Now we are led to believe by many, that it's just a QB problem after the Texans loss. But, you have teams in the playoffs, without quality starters.

And Caserio has had 3 top 3 picks in the last couple of years along with pick 15.

We lost our starter this year as well.  Not even close on comparing the two.

7 years guy! 7 years, and 1 playoff win and playoffs 2 of 7 seasons. lol

Have there been teams that go to the playoffs with a back up QB? Yea sure, how about when that back up QB plays 75% of the season? Absolutely not, I would have to do some serious digging but there isn’t a single one that comes to mind. Only ones where a QB was drafted and was supposed to sit and then got thrusted into the starting role and this clearly wasn’t the case. Heck you can look back at what Minshew did with the Jags when he was the starter..

More than you want to believe, but this sounds like either denial or just more excuses for Ballard type of conversation. lol

Two years.  What's the point?  He's been there for a shorter time?  Great.

When is the last time CB had the #2 pick?  How many times has CB picked in the top 10?

LOL So, if CB had a #2 pick things would be different? He's had two top five picks in 7 years.

The colts do have a good amount of talent on the team. How else would they have the record they do with a very limited backup qb all year. Where would any of the top teams be without their starting qb? Probably with about the same record as the colts. I do not want the colts to sign gm. I would rather draft a qb to be the backup and play if Richardson gets hurt again and might be a possible replacement if he can’t keep from getting hurt. I also wouldn’t give Pittman a #1 receiver money because he isn’t. I would draft 2 lb’s as high as needed. I like speed, but I don’t like Franklin at all and need two. I know this won’t be popular, but I would trade Taylor to get rid of the contract. I just don’t think he looks like the same player. I think moss hits the hole faster, like Taylor used to. Moss was getting big runs tonight on very limited chances and has shown it all year.

disappointing in the end, but a good year and looking forward to next year. Hoping Richardson is as good as people think he will be.

Because there are a lot more bad teams, than good teams this season.

Take CJ stroud out after week 4 and how do you think the Texans legitimately do?

Do teams with a supposedly solid roster make the playoffs, without a quality starter?

So, if the Texans lost Stroud during the season and didn't make the playoffs would you be saying the same thing about Caserio?

How long has Caserio been the GM of the Texans?

May be time to move on from Ballard

When the Texans make the playoffs one year after being a dumpster fire, it's hard to argue. And there are people saying the roster is very good.

I was listening to something about the ravens the other day. They mentioned Joe their defense was good but it wasn’t getting it done in the modern nfl anymore. I kind of feel that’s where we are at with Bradley.

Only four teams are giving up more points a game than the Colts.

It's getting up there, isn't it?

Indeed. When you look at the Texans going to the playoffs a year removed from being a dumpster fire, and the Colts roster is supposedly very good. I just don't no what to say about our GM.
