Looks legit and 4.4 speed
I like adding more speed in the CB room. I just don’t know how many of these 5,67 round guys will make the team.

Backup to Kenny?

This seems like a really good player. Ballard is not taking high RAS scores like he usually does.

Playing in a big time conference should help him.

With the new return rules this guy should be fun on kick returns.

Yeah. Still no safety or DB help. Colts listed him as a LB in their Facebook introduction.
My guess in next couple weeks they will be signing a couple vet DB.

Nfl.com says he might be a candidate to move to lb.
Yeah he is listed as a S/LB. Sounds like a nickle. Maybe a backup to Kenny.

Dont mind taking a shot on a late round safety. Probably will just be ST or a PS guy.

We have 6 really nice WR now. Will be interesting if he makes the team. But bring that fast and a kick returner he probably will.

Ballard said the Oline and WR class is where the depth is and he is drafting where the value is. With Fries set to be a FA and Kelly getting older setting this team up for the future is a good thing. Didn’t make sense to go safety and CB here because draft just isn’t that deep here in the fourth.

Beefing up the Oline is always good. Draft your depth at Oline. Oline is scarce in the nfl so just go get your own instead of really on FA.

So you are no longer mad at the Latu pick?
I was never mad. I think in the moment it was just disappointment but with the 4 big pass catchers gone it was the right pick. With the CB not going until later in first seems teams were not high on them. Ballard did say last night he didn’t see the value in CB in the second also.

Yeah... I think we pick a center. Not just French and Pinter... but Kelly's contract expires next year and by his words there haven't even been any talks about extension so far. It's possible Ballard will go for his C of the future ... soon. Like ... R4 soon.
I think colts future center will probably be drafted eventually a lot higher. A round 4 guy probably doesn’t give us much more then Pinter and French. Ballard did say the guy last night could probably play center too.

I think I got overinvested in the idea of trading back in R1 and thus Worthy making a lot of sense. And I didn't expect Mitchell to be there in R2 so that eliminated him. Matt Goncalves was completely out of the blue pick for me. I had not watched even a highlight video of him. I thought Latu is an option, but when talking about Ballard types I would have picked both Turner and Verse as more of a Ballard types. How would I know he would decide to bet on refinement and production instead of physical traits for what seems like the first time in his career.
It’s actually kind of nice where we can just take the best player instead of drafting for need. I still don’t like the CB room much outside of Brent’s. Still too much hope there with late round picks and undrafted guys.
You are right about busting his past tendencies. I was noticing Zach hicks is raining on everyone’s parade because Ballard has not followed the trend. His build a bsllard series got blown to pieces.

Last year I had a very good feel about what we were after. This year I've been kind of off so... Not really sure. Ballard mentioned depth with both OL and WR. I wouldn't completely rule out us double dipping at both positions.
I wonder if it’s been hard to predict this year because there isn’t a huge holes on this team. When there are glaring holes it’s easier to predict.

It feels like they are going to sign Diggs, or he at least is giving his best effort to try and convince them.
I imagine we will know in the next few days, potentially.
Draft settle up, UDFA. Few releases and couple vet additions.
I won’t be surprised if they sign a cheaper vet CB too.

I think Blackmon and Cross are the starters as we sit here today.
Yeah if they don’t sign a vet at FS I think cross will be the FS. I still think they will sign a vet.

Rodney Thomas II is our starter and he was drafted in 7th round out of Yale. Seems none of our LBs were early round selections... So I wouldn't be surprised if upgrades can still be found in these later rounds.
He is not good. I don’t think he will be the starter week one.

We need one or two LBs. there is room on the roster there. Safety roster seems to have holes. Might see a few vets let go during camp.
I just am not sure the quality we are going to find today at safety. It probably won’t be much better than what we have. Ballard does always find gems at LB late though.

If teams can't get anymore than practice squad players in round 4 and 5 of a draft it'll be historically bad
Colts roster has so many young players and not many holes. It’s why I didn’t think they really needed 7 picks. It’s going to be hard to make the team if your a late round draft pick,

Eric Ebron trashes Ballard

He always blamed others for his mistakes. That is why he isn’t playing anymore. No accountability. If he hadn’t quit colts might of made the playoffs with Jacoby.
