Stop ragging on this guy.....There were prognosticators at one point earlier in the year that were referring to him as an Ed Reed Type of Safety......I think we'd all take that!!!!
Btw Jon Allen and Reuben Foster are falling because of Injury reasons...Chronic Arthritic Shoulders on Allen and Foster is failing drug tests and is injury prone too because of his play...think Bob Sanders 2.

Count me NOT a fan of Kareem Hunt or Alvin Kamara...I think both have bust potential written all over them....Of course this is my opinion but if you watch Hunt for instance he is constantly getting caught from behind....
One guy who I think is a semi sleeper is D'onte Foreman of Texas. I know he's had a bit of fumbling issue but he's a Mack Truck and in the Red Zone is a beast. Unlike most of the RB above he is also listed from what I've read as a solid pass blocking RB which we know is important in our system. He reminds me of an MJD type of back body build if you watch his tape.
I also think if Joe Williams is serious about the NFL he could be a sleeper too. He is fast fast fast and as IU can attest hard to tackle in the open field.

So I Like Jarrad Davis and I think it doesn't matter if it's at 15 or 25 if you think the guy is a really good player and fits your team you take him.
On another note....I have a real strong feeling about Obi Melinifou from UConn. I think that guy could be a beast and a Hybrid like Geathers. 6'4 4.38 40 41 inch vertical and you could use him in that Hybrid Lb slash Safety role. He's 225 so he has some size to him....

Am I the only one who thinks we need as many picks as we can get this year? Seems like the draft is really loaded defensively!!!!! Especially with Safeties, Corners, Linebackers and LB/DE tweener types...
I really like Reddick from Temple, Foster, McMillan from OSU, Davis from Florida, and Williams from Bama
Safeties: Melinofwu (UConn), Hooker, Adams, Baker (Wash), Jones (NC State), Peppers
Corners: : Lattimore, Conley, Lewis (UM) King (Iowa), Wilson (Florida), Tabor (Florida), Humphreys (Bama)
DE: Harris, Thomas, Lawson, Watts, Barnett, McKinley, etc
Just seems like there are so many really solid guys this year.... I'm just praying we don't take a tight end with the first pick...LOL

I would love us to focus on some Defense in Free Agency....
1. Ansah from Detroit, Okafor from NO, or Possibly Clayborn from Atlanta
2. Z. Brown from Washington, Avery Williamson from Ten, or Demario Davis from NYJ
3. Trumaine Johnson from LA Rams, or Malcolm Butler from NE
4. Lamarcus Joyner from LA for backup safety help (So we can get rid of TJ Green)
Resign Desir, Rashaan Melvin, Mewhort (If he checks out OK) big if I know, and Gore if we can on the cheap for 1 more year just to have a solid steady presence on the team...Maybe one more Go around if we get Luck back healthy.
On Offense I would see if we can sign
1 Norwell or Pugh
2. Landry or Robinson from Jax
3. Paul Richardson from SEA or Davante Adams if Landry or Robinson aren't available.
4. See if you can get either Carlos Hyde or Jeremy Hill fairly cheap if can't resign Gore.
Then in the Draft....if we can't trade the 3rd pick back for more picks I would take either
1. Nelson (and hopefully sign one of the above as the other guard)
2. Take Barkley if he's available although Penn St. Running backs scare me...
3. In second round if you don't take Barkley I would take a long look at Rashaad Penny from SD State..Guy is a stud with speed and size (5'11 220)
4 Third Round if he's available I would go after Will Hernandez of UTEP if he's available...Massive guard who PFF graded as highest grades for both pass and run blocking guards in College football this year.
5. Last 4 rounds take best player available or focus on Defense.
