  1. If this has been pointed out already I apologize, I haven't gone through every page... I predicted last year T-Rich would be better this year, and it is happening.  I remember last year so many saying Donald Brown was a better back, and pretty horrible things about Richardson.  So this year I just wanted to do a side by side after 3 games to see what things looked like.  Won't lie don't watch the Chargers so really didn't know.

    D. Brown 41 carries on the season 80 yards

    T. Richardson 41 carries on the season 156 yards

Guess we kept the better back after all.... I believe in Richardson and feel he's starting to come into his own!

  2. Was he good, at one point (one season) sure... Was he great? No! He had potential, and never worked out, sure he had lots of injuries, but if he can't stay healthy you do the team no good. He was the offensive version on Bob Sanders. To all the comments about watch how well he does now, how well did Bob work out for the Chargers? Sometimes now matter how much talent you have, you just can't make it in this League because of injuries, here is an example.

  3. Wow great read... I was a Reg fan before, he just positioned himself into the heart & soul of this team. If I was a betting man, I honestly would have put serious coin down that Reggie would be gone. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU REGGIE.... Thank you for proving that the NFL, is more than just about the money and the next big contract. You have restored my faith in players, you Sir are a Superstar!! :worthy:

  4. I know he has come in off the bench after we knocked Rivers out of the game... In fact I was at that game, I remember thinking we have this game wrapped up now. Nope, Volek came in and torched us. Give him credit for that, also for being prepared and ready to go in to finish the deal for you. That is what you ask a backup to do, step in and moments notice and finish it off. With that being said, he would make a good backup.

  5. Do we have a roster of players to even choose from anymore?? Kidding, well kind of: Angerer could be a beast ( I have thought that all along )... McAfee (He is nuts, and I like that)... Mathis (Was a beast, hope he remains one without Freeney on the opposite side of the line)... Other than that, the only one I can think of that is still here is little Timmy (the intensity he brings carrying out the towels... the way he folds them, never cutting a corner... truly special).

  6. This week hurt a lot... I am tired of reading posts from the "true fans", to get over it and move on, that we are better off. I was a fan back in the days when 3-13 was the norm... I am still a die-hard Colts fan and will bleed blue forever. What I think what so many of the "true fans" are mistaking is the love of the team. This hurts so much for myself and guessing others, because the Colts were Manning, Clark, Addai, Reggie, Freeney, and all of the other guys making up the roster. They were the Colts to me, they were "family" if you will. Will they be replaced, eventually, but never forgotten. So many great years and memories happened because of these guys, so it doesn't make me or anyone else any less of a "fan" because it hurts to see them go.

  7. I have accepted it, I understand the "WHY" of it.... It doesn't mean I like it, and sure doesn't mean I feel any better about it. There have been 2 athletes that transcended the sport to me, Michael Jordan and Peyton Manning. They were both more than just a sports star to me, they were everything that was right about the sport, about how to compete, and how to make yourself better than those you compete against. So do I accept it, yes.... But we lost a great person and a Star among Stars.

  8. Firm believer if we won another couple games.... Manning would be under center! It is hard to say goodbye to the GOAT.... and to think of what could be without Manning, but hopefully we have learned from this. A better Defense is needed, a better O-Line is needed, and a Backup QB who can do more than just hold a clipboard, just in case your QB does go down.

  9. Wow... So many, one I remember was winning tickets to the MNF Game against the Rams... We were down early a couple of touchdowns... With Manning behind center it never really worried me... We came back to win it, and Manning to Harrison for All-Time Touchdown Record for QB / WR duo... What a night.

  10. The one I can't help but wonder if he is to blame is DC Greg Williams... If he didn't entice / encourage his guys to take cheap shots... If Peyton didn't take that horrendous hit... If Peyton didn't have an injury that continued to get worse overtime (assuming this all started back from the Redskins hit)... If Manning didn't have to have neck surgeries... If those neck surgeries didn't keep him out for a season... If we didn't lose a whole season and get the 1st overall draft pick.... Would this have even happened today? Did a cheap shot cause Indy to lose our Franchise QB? Will the punishment that Williams get, even come close to what we lost in Manning?
