BigHen clearly wants Luck killed by not addressing the line
No not at all. Isn't Mewhort coming back? I think a healthy Mewhort, Castznzo, Kelly is a good nucleus. Haeg seems to have decent potential also. Having playmakers like Michel, Moore and Goedert added will also help keep the Luck upright. At least I hope

I knew the Goedert pick wouldnt be popular because of Doyle. I just happen to think he's the next Travis Kelce. Everyone has their favorites, he's one of mine.
-
good point on the point value. what dont you like about Godert? i'd like to see more 12 personnel with Doyle and Goedert. Not a fan of the Ebron pick up at all.

I am beginning to think Reddick will surpass Cunningham as the 2nd ILB drafted. Cunningham will appeal as an OLB to 43 teams as well.
-
If they trade back, they better make sure they are in front of the Chiefs. KC desperately needs ILB help, especially after Derrick Johnson went down with achilles injury late last year.
-
That's interesting. I feel the opposite. I guess it depends on a lot of factors. I'm not a young man and I've worked on and with computers most of my adult life. I find it refreshing to have an app that is detail oriented as opposed to the others which as you say run on smart phones. I dont own a smart phone and have no desire to. It's all perspective

I've been dreaming of a situation where we somehow got Foster in the 1st and then Reddick in the second. Can't see a way it could possibly happen though sadly.
Can't argue with you liking both these guys, but would you really want to draft ILB's with our 1st 2 picks? I actually doubt that Foster makes it to us. There's only 3 guys at ILB and then a big drop off. Reddick is rising, if Foster is gone would you take Reddick at 14

found this on the web over the w/e.
there's also one about their group draft let me know if interested and I'll post that link

if you think first-pick is cool, clearly you haven't tried draftwired.

Jeremiah is a overrated fool IMO. He's about the last guy I'd pay attention to concerning the prospects.

I know that most draft enthusiasts love to trade, especially trade down. Myself, most of the time I avoid them, and if I do it's usually not a radical trade like yours. Reason being, it just makes the mock more unlikely (with the big trades) That being said, I like most of your picks (specially Jaleel). Do you really think Maybin will go that high though? You might want to check out draftwired, I think it's a much more professional and realistic app. dont have the link handy, but you can just google 'draftwired' (I think). It's new and not well known but far better in my opinion.

Mixon isnt a 2nd rounder even without breaking that girls face.
Most everyine else will likely be drafted way sooner than you have them slotted. So good draft, horribly unrealistic.
I wouldn't touch Mixon, but i think you're wrong about them being drafted way higher than riftastic has them. I do also think the FA signings are quite unrealistic

The same one you used, Draftwired. I did a print screen and then tried to upload it to this website, but unable to do so.
You can have a email sent to you when you finish. You get a text file. I just copied and pasted it above. I hate typing. You like draftwired? they got group drafts during the week at 7 and 10. Not too many team reps yet. I think by March that is going to be intense.

which simulator?
-
I like it Rock. Not too much unlike mine. Vea is a great pick, I am not sure if he's declared yet. I like all your picks. Decoud and Basham especially. did you do this free form or with a simulator

wasn't looking for a TE as I assume Doyle resigns however Leggett's value was good in rd 3

Check out my mock - i just posted it

Trades:
(61, 93, 215) from ATL for (47)
Picks:
Rd 1 Pk 15 - Takkarist McKinley (OLB 3/4) UCLA
Rd 2 Pk 61 - D'Onta Foreman (RB) Texas
Rd 3 Pk 79 - Lowell Lotulelei (NT) Utah
Rd 3 Pk 93 - Jordan Leggett (TE) Clemson
Rd 4 Pk 120 - Josh Jones (SS) N.C. State
Rd 4 Pk 143 - Kendell Beckwith (ILB) LSU
Rd 5 Pk 160 - Damontae Kazee (CB) San Diego State
Rd 6 Pk 201 - A.J. Wolf (DE 3/4) Duke
Rd 6 Pk 215 - Chad Hansen (WR) California
Rd 7 Pk 237 - Johnny Caspers (G) StanfordYou probably know how much I like McKinley. Perfect 3/4 OLB, the next Demarcus Ware (potentially). Foreman is a big productive beast, no he's not Dalvin Cook, but he solves the RB dilemma with a pure power back and becomes A Luck's best friend, Lotulelei is a classic NT, Parry would be nice backup compliment to him. Leggett is a complete TE and they could run 12 personnel with Doyle on occasion. If Jones (6-2 212) FS/SS, is coming off an injury otherwise he'd probably go higher. Beckwith is also coming off injury and will be a lock at ILB (6-2 252) is an excellent tackler. Kazee is a spunky tough back who could be nickle and eventually start outside despite being 5'10". Of the rest the best is Hansen who I have a feeling might go much higher than rd 6.
-
confused by your post.
priority 1 OLB, priorty 2 DE/Edge aren't they the same in a 3/4?????
think you meant to say ILB as priority 1, but then you talk about Jerrell Freeman.
Hello but left for the Bears a year ago

I like this off season, though I'm not sure if how plausible it is, especially in FA. I see the Colts grabbing maybe 1 or 2 guys as a scheme fit. Not sure if they'll be ready to reach for the wallet to get a top tier player. But I do like the Zach Brown signing and the TJ Watt, and Jarron Jones picks. Those are guys who I think can thrive in Indy.
You like Jones as NT?I see him as classic 5 tech. And 2nd rd seems hi for Watt

I've always liked the Colts since Luck was drafted. I no longer follow the game as I once did, so forgive my talent assessment of the team. I only watched them a couple of times last year. In retrospect, I agree at least 2 picks of their top 6 should be Offensive lineman. Goedert will become an All-Pro for someone else imo, but Luck is the franchise and he must be kept upright. Maybe I'll post and updated mock with this in mind. Or some of you should try draftwired and post your 'draftwired' sim in this thread with an emphasis on protecting Luck
