  1. Wow we have some Edit on this message board. A CB?????? Really?? in the words of JIm Mora, ARE YOU Edit Kidding me!!!

I became a colts fan because of peyton, peyton was the reason why i switched from futbol to football. BUt I love the colts and Andrew Luck is the best chance for this Franchise. Luck has had a lot of hate geared towards him, lets dispel some myths

Myth 1: Luck is selfish and wants to start right away

Facts: Every QB that is considered good enough to be top 5 pick should want to start right away. I remember a certain guy who came out of tennesse, He wears number 18, he told polian he wanted to start right away and that if colts didn't pick him, he would make their life miserable. I think his name was peyton something. Furthermore Luck has repeatedly said he is willing to sit behind peyton and learn because peyton is who he shaped himself to be after.

Myth 2: Luck has mediocre arm and can't make deep throws

The same qualm was raised about peyton and his mediocre arm. What seperates Manning and also LUck is their accuracy. Both of them are extremely accurate. Luck has almost perfect form, his only issue is his follow through after he releases ball which can be coached. BUt luck can consistently throw ball 50 yards and place it in the money spot

    Myth 3: Luck isn't atheltic

Luck ran a 4.59 in the 40 yard dash, the same TIME AS CAM NEWTON. And he is way faster than Manning ever was and is faster than aaron rodgers. More importantly Luck knows how to move around the pocket much the same way peyton does.

Myth 4: Luck isn't Peyton Manning

No one will be peyton manning thats a fact but luck molded his game after manning. At stanford, he called his own plays and much like peyton was given 3 plays at line of scrimmage and Luck would decide what play to run based on defense

RGIII is talented and athletic but as a pure pocket passer, Luck is way better, more importantly Luck can and already knows how to run a no huddle perfectly while calling his own plays. I think RGIII will be good player but it is LUCK that will end up in Canton. Luck has been great for multiple years at Standford. RGIII came out of nowhere this year.

  2. I never understand why people keep insisting to trade down

THe logic is that no rookie will be able to be peyton manning, so instead of getting the closest guy to his skill set, you want to trade down and get another average qb and think he will be better to replace PM. Polian who drafted manning has always gone with the principle of drafting the best player available even if its not your biggest need. Polian had a decent QB in harabaugh, he could of fteraded the 1st pick and got a boat load of picks to compliment and fill out a colts team. He decided he rather draft the best player available, Peyton Manning because he would the be franchise and cornerstone to build upon.

We have a chance to replace the biggest colts legend with a guy that has the potential to be a legend himself. Franchise QB don't come around very often. Its ridiculous to waste the opportunity to have our future set for next 15 years. Look at teams that have won sb without a franchise qb. They may win a sb, but after that they fall from grace and have to start over. With a true franchise QB you will compete every single year and have a chance to win it every year. Thats what we have with Manning and what we can have with luck

  3. I think Luck if he has too will not mind sitting around for 1 year, after that Colts will have to make a decision. This must be an incredibly awkward position for Luck family and Manning Family. How one pinched nerve has changed an entire fate of a franchise and the career and legacy of Bill Polian and Peyton Manning. I never thought in my wildest dreams we would draft luck who is the prospect we need exactly to fill in shoes of Peyton Manning

There will never be another Peyton Manning, thats fine I just want a franchise QB that can lead and take charge as Manning did as a rookie. For those that say, he is a rookie and can be a bust. Peyton was a rookie himself too. But both of these guys have incredibly smart football IQs

  4. I can not stand Adam Schefter. He spews out more ^cowpatties^ than an actual bull. Its ridiculous. I believe he is also the one who tweeted that the Keith Butler was already hired as DC even though he hadn't been interviewed yet. Schefter is ridiculous, he is not a journalist and is no different than Rob Lowe even though Schefter has taken to making fun of Lowe. Both of them talk to sources and tweet things as the truth it is ridiculous. I wish there was another network that could challenge ESPN. Im tired of their made up stories and their assault on Journalism.

  5. I did not like the interview at all!

Manning seems almost depressed. I really dislike how Grigson has made almost zero contact with Peyton Manning. That is something that troubles me and really bothers me a lot. As a new GM i really think it is important to establish a connection with your franchise QB. I dislike that fact a lot. Perhaps Grigson has been very busy running around establishing a new staff but i wish he was friendlier with peyton.

Before I sound like a debbie downer, Peyton is a creature of habit. Part of the reason he is down is because he dislikes change.

Rationally and logically, it is best for the Colts to release Manning or try to trade him to the team that will let him win more rings to cement his legacy as the GOAT. While the Colts develop their new franchise QB.

Having said that, I do not want to see Manning in another uniform and if he were to win rings with another team, there is chance he would go to canton in another uniform which would break my heart. I want a another ring for the colts. darn it JIM Caldwell, you really botched the SB

MY heart wants Manning to come back, win one ring with the colts then retire and stay on as a qb coach and coach Luck

  6. Finally I was very upset at murmors that Caldwell is staying. Caldwell is a great person but a mediocre coach at best. He had horrible game management decisions and he did very little to put players in situations for them to succeed. He botched development of our first round picks brown and hughes. He didnt adjust offense to match painter or any of the qbs we had

  7. It is ridiculous that we keep Caldwell, Caldwell has horrible game management skills, completely gets out coached in every game, has no strategy and refuses to make adjustments at half time.

More importantly Caldwell was a QB coach, what exactly did he coach to Painter, because Painter did not grasp anything in the time he was in indy. Caldwell should have recognized Painter couldn't be manning and adapted the offense to him but he had no idea how to maximize his potential.

We need a new coach, though sadly I believe that he might stay as Irsay would have fired him with polians.
