I see some logic in testing Luck under game conditions if and when he gets healthy enough to play say in week 12 or 14 . However there is a risk if he is shoved out there too early. There will be definite rust and timing issues on a returning quarterback who has missed all of training camp and 3/4 0f the season. So after initial evaluation if we are in playoff picture okay there's a good reason .If we are eliminated from playoffs why put your franchise quarterback at risk? Let him continue to heal fully Next year he will be 100% and Jacoby will be one hellva backup quarterback OR a starter for team we traded him to procuring perhaps draft picks and or /Offensive lineman or good Pass rushers.

Being a medical person I'm telling you this type of surgery on a quarterback is ALMOST equivalent to Tommy John surgery in baseball ...It takes a full year 12 months plus to recover

Lets face it although he can't be blamed for the injuries ,the defensive minded guru he was supposed to be hasn't panned out ......Defense is mediocre at best, lacks a decent pass rush and gives up too many big plays especially late in the game. I've seen no great defensive players that he has drafted on this team..Malik Hooker showed promise until his injury .Tony Dungy was probably the best for drafting defensive players as a coach. YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS.

I don't know what's on Jim's mind but I do know he doesn't like to lose and changes are in order sooner than later I'm sure. WE NEED QUALITY OFFENSIVE LINEMAN "Connor Williams" anyone? WE NEED A MONSTER PASS RUSHER any nominations? We should consider shutting ANDREW LUCK DOWN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON the moment playoffs are no longer possible. Also we should examine or at least listen to trade offers that will upgrade the team in multiple ways......

Chuck Pagano Concerned About Number Of Sacks On Andrew Luck and rightly so . He is risking major season ending injury with all the long drop backs . We should incorporate more quick out short routes that gets rid of the ball faster plus RUN THE FOOTBALL MORE !

Colts GMT Grigson blamed Andrew Luck's hefty contract on inability to rebuild the defense ...even if this is so it's not smart to address this publicly .Luck is the the primary reason this team isn't 0-4 the eratic injury prone defense yielding a ton of points and yards given ingredients is showing signs of its age with a nearly non-existant pass rush. Okay so how do we deal with this problem ,now and in the future ?

Not really Pagano as much as it is Grigson.. Grigson must go bring in a real GM who can evaluate talent oh those Bill Polian days gone by !

Look anything is possible if we win two in a row and even up at 3-3 I'll be more positive but right now I'm bleeding Colt blue and no one seems to be bringing any bandages. I still think Pagano can pull a defense together but its hard to make chicken salad with chicken excrement if you get my drift. We need to have a draft a real stud defensive player ,sign some very good free agents and shore up the offensive line ASAP

Don't you feel like yelling after London? Poor Andrew Luck is going to get killed throwing 40-50 passes a game behind a the current offensive line.

YES BUT THIS IS not a SUPER bowl bound team! Andre Luck gets hit too much forced to throw 35-45 passes a game ,Running game despite last games improvement is still subpar we haven't had a 100 yard rusher in 53 regular season games plus defense looks old and slow where is the pass rush? we look like another 8-8 team at best at worst 7-9 or 6-10

I've never liked the 3-4 defense ,especially one that has no pass rush...it worked for Parcells cause he had Lawrence Taylor. Oh almost forgot 1st game win ? Gee dunno this looks like a really slow bad team right now !

Reality is COLTS ARE NOT A GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM not enough talent ON the defense/ no rushing ability on offense and rely too much on their franchise Quarterback to make big plays and win games which could spell disaster for a one dimensional team! Luck could end up on th DL again from getting Beat up! ITS GOING TO BE A LONG YEAR!

I remember when Marshall Faulk first debut with the Colts he instantly made the entire offense better just by his presence. We are asking again Luck to make plays to win games with an above average line not a great one ,No running attack to speak of and a slowing aging defense....................

Well laugh if you must .I see this as a winnable game. Defense is a bit decimated and the 4th quarter will be tough but Adam Vinatieri wins it 23-20 Colts in a squeaker.
