I won my league last year, team name Natural Bjoern Killers!
-
Look out we might draft a QB in the 2nd round.. No matter what you say i still hate this pick we are stacked at WR, when is he going to get on the field you forget we run alot of 2 TE set, like someone said why get more weapons when theres only one football, better yet why waste a 1st on someone who will probably not see the field as much.. We needed to upgrade the defense i guess its gonna be another 200+yds in the playoffs what good is having so many weapons when your defense cant stop the run.. I know the draft isnt over but i just think there were better options.. I hope Grigs Proves me wrong .. Go COLTS!!

Stephen Wisnewski!!!! Sign the guy already! He would easily be the best C in our team and he wouldn't break the bank.. If cap space is needed just cut Thomas and Louis, that should create about 4-5 mil in space, Idk why we haven't signed him
-
Well the title says grigs suds and duds I assumed it was all the players he's acquired that have either been studs or duds.. When you make a guy the highest paid player at his position you expect him to play like the best player at his position.. I don't think those are unrealistic expectations..
Imo bust is anyone who fails to make a positive impact on the team whether it be because he can't play at a high level or is injured a lot
-
Good grief. Are we really going to list every low risk/high reward FA pickup and every stopgap player added to the roster for cheap in 2012 when the team had no cap space as "busts"?
I guess I'd really just like to see more thought go into using absolute terms like "bust".
When a player doesn't cost much, and expectations weren't high to begin with, I don't see how that qualifies. Likewise, I struggle to think a guy like Cherilus, who played well in '13, and reportedly played thru nagging injuries in '14, is a bust just because his play wasn't quite what I would have hoped. For all we know, he manned up to play thru injuries because depth wasn't, there, and coaches really appreciate his sacrifice. Don't know, just sayin.
Either way, IMHO, bust should mean something significantly more than just "guy who didn't meet my unrealistic expectations".

This is just a thought Castanzo and Mewhort LT and LG sign Wisnewski to be C, I guess Herreman RG a RT in the 1st maybe Peat or Clemings., release Louis and Thomas creates 4mill in cap and release Cherilus has like a 8-9 hit in dead money but it's better than his 12mil cap hit next year and 13mil the yr after that
-
I don't understand why we haven't signed Wisnewski to replace Holmes...
-
Nothing was done to improve the Oline! Other than sign a 30+ Declining player coming off and injured riddled season,, Holmes was not good when he played Check out the patriots game he gets manhandled on almost every play!! Our RG situation is also up for grabs.. I feel like our Oline is filled with too many and, ifs or buts.. If Thomas and Cherlius are healthy if Holmes and Thorton decide to play.. Sick and tired of the Oline being a joke... Wisnewski isn't still out ther just saying...
-
Can you imagine if we didn't trade for him and we would have drafted LeVeon Bell....
-
2 words.. Pot Roast!! Nuff said
-
We need Pot Roast! If we are gonna keep the pats to under 200yds we better sign him.. jones/Knighton/Langford sounds better than rjf/chapman/reddings
-
R.Moore is the only other solid saftey out there right now. Well the only one that would actually be an upgrade
-
Can some one tell me how old these players are i know Gore, Cole, Adams are 30+ with Langford, Reitz and Butler in the late 20s, i feel like we are last yrs Raiders signing older declining players to big money... I still dont see an upgrade either.. Sorry for my negativity i just hate that not a single impact player has been signed... Yet
-
R.Moore, Wisnewski!!! Pot Roast/Willians id be ok if we sign Brooks Reed or AJ
-
Please not Crabtree!!! Goodthings Smith wont come to indy! Who kees saying they want Shorts?? If we are Signing a WR then it better be AJ. Maybe Nicks
-
I like him but not for 10mil a yr more like a 3yr 22-26mil, and he'd be a DE in our 3-4
-
I don't understand how we overpay for average players and fail to pay impact players.. If we dont get McCourty or R.Moore then our Safety position is going to be weakness again!! You guys cant be counting on Asams having the same kind of yr as last yr
-
coleman!! We could get him in the 2nd and use our 1st on another team need! I like Gurley better but like previously mentioned the fact that he doesnt want anyone checking his knee scares me.. I saw Gordons film and a lot of times hes not touched untill a good 5-8yrds down field not to mention the holes are huge!
-
If Reggie wants to play with someone els he can, his contract with the Colts is over, id hate seeing him in another uniform but his a grown man he does what he wants
-
Release Walden and sign Brooks Reed, release Trent and draft Coleman in the 2nd, release Thomas and Louis and Sign Wisnewski!! Release Cribbs sign any other returner! Lol
-
Ive been saying this for a while, the #1 priority should be upgrading the Oline!!! The cowboys are a perfect example of what a great OLine can do to an ok offense and the Colts are a perfect example of what a bad Oline does to a good Offense.. It holds it back. Although we were a top 5 Oline most of the yr but when it counted our Oline let us down.. In my opinion Wisnewski is the best option at C, and there are several options at RG (Boiling anyone?) im still undecided on our RT situation.. Maybe a RT in the 1st will complete our Oline..
Castanzo Mewhort Wisnewski Boling Lael Collings
With Holmes Thorton and Reights as our primary backups
-
I dont want Suh way too expensive! Idk how well Hardy can play OLB in a 3-4, id rather release Walden and bring in Brooks Reed! He can play ILB or OLB and he'd be cheaper too

I hated the Dorsett pick at first
in Colts Football

I for one hated the colts picking Dorsett with Brown and Goldman still on the board, i remember bashing Grigson and Irsay for not addressing the defense. That being said i know see what they were going for, the reason we got blown out by the patriots was cuz they forced us to abandon the run and just pass, but we nvr got anything going because they doubled T.Y, locked down Reggie and Browner took care of Fleener. Now NE lost i believe their top 4 CBs so now theres no way they will be able to double TY and take care of Johnson, Moncrife, Fleener, Allen and now Dorsett! Not to mention not being able to run against NE is why we signed Gore and Herremans. I now think that it wasnt a luxury pick but a pick for the future, with all the pending contracts Especially TYs and its no secret that in order to get to the Super Bowl we must beat NE and maybe Dorsett will help us
