  1. 39 tds

On the most loaded offense in the league, during the regular season beating up on weak teams.

It's a shame he couldn't carry any of those regular season tds over to the playoffs because he desperately needed them and failed to deliver in a home playoff game against a team that has an average defense.

No excuses for that performance... he played horribly and was one of the main reasons they lost the game

  2. Super bowls are made easier with a great QB but without the supporting cast around them they could just as well be water boys. That's not a knock on Brady it holds true for any QB that plays on any team from high school, collage and into the pros. Trent Dilfer has a super bowls ring for gods sake.

Why do you have Colts fans saying they hope the Pats lose the SB so Brady can go down as the qb who lost the most SBs?

They always change their opinion based on the argument they're trying to make. If they win a SB, it's because they had a superior team, if they lose the SB it's because Brady is a choker lol.. 2 completely contradictory thoughts, both with the same objective though of discrediting Brady.

I wonder what they feel about Manning who has the record for most 1 and dones in the history of the league... on a team that was STACKED with talent on both sides of the ball and had more weapons than any other QB this year, yet only managed 150 total yards of offense against the Colts.. and got his head coach fired in the process.

If losing another SB hurts Brady's legacy knowing how insanely hard it is to win one in this era, I can't imagine what Manning just did to his legacy in those same posters eyes.

  3. My issue is that 2 lineman are not line up within 1 yard of the line of scrimmage (as is always the case). 63 & 76 both line up more than 1 yard off the ball.

The issue was not with the offensive lineman, they wear ineligible numbers and would had to declare if they were. . They lined up where they always do and are a non issue in this discussion.

Because the rule is that the last person on the line (within 1 yard) is eligible it makes it difficult to tell who is technically on the line.

You can figure this out by the player, in this case Vereen, declaring as ineligible. With him ineligible, that makes Hoomanawanui the eligible WR by default because he's at the end of the line.

pats execute superior coaching and strategy, get a win .

    Fixed that for you.

In the end, it's because Harbaugh was not prepared. He didn't want to study that because he didn't think it was on the test, then got burned for it, period.

The Patriots played their butts off and had to pull out every single trick they had in the play book to mount their comeback. It was excellent preperation and execution, but you'll still find haters here suggesting that they're cheating, which the mods should do something about because those claims are completely baseless and have been factual proven incorrect by the NFL Competition Committee

Yet the slander and false accusations are allowed to be flung all over the place.

At least Pagano is respectable, he did his homework and publicly stated that it's perfectly within the rules and that the Colts will just need to STUDY and be PREPARED to deal with those sub groups and formations. Harbaugh did neither and he got burned for it. That's a credit to the Patriots for employing gadget plays with success in an important game, so stop trying to discredit them and suggest that they're dirty cheaters when they were clearly not

  4. I'd like to take you at your word and believe you, but you'll need to post some type of proof in order for your assertion to be considered correct. I previously posted a news article stating Harbaugh it was much quicker than that and the Refs agreed they needed to allow time to identify the players for coverage. So evidence leans that direction for the time being.

Defenses by rule get to adjust to substitutions by an offense, not necessarily formations; unless the formations required substitutions (which these did).

"“It's a substitution type of a trick type of thing,” Harbaugh said. “So they don't give you the opportunity. They don't give you a chance to make the proper substitutions and things like that. It’s not something that anybody’s ever done before. The league will look at that type of thing, and I’m sure that they’ll make some adjustments and things like that."

"The Patriots had gone to four offensive linemen after center Bryan Stork left the game with a right knee injury, lining up with tight end Michael Hoomanawanui at left tackle as an eligible receiver and running back Shane Vereen reporting as an ineligible receiver. The Patriots would snap the football as soon as the ineligible receiver was announced, using the configuration on three plays."

These are direct quotes from here-

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-baltimore-ravens-coach-john-harbaugh-tries-to-stop-new-england-patriots-deception-with-penalty-20150110-story.html

That doesn't appear to prove your 7-10 seconds response. If it is true, you should be able to find the information from a credible source and we can put it to bed as John Harbaugh having a Jim Harbaugh moment.

I love this mentality from people here. It wasn't a violation of any rule, the Nfl said it was fine, Harbaugh 2 days later said it was fine, your own coach said it was fine, and posters have done their homework and gave you even further proof that it was infact fine..

Then you suggest that other people have to spend their time gathering up more evidence and put it into a power point presentation for you because you don't think it's fine...

The burden of proof is on YOU, so why don't YOU go find some evidence to support your incorrect claim that it was an illegal, dirty play that the nfl, coaches and media all disagree with you on

  5. ne is always looking too bend the rules are break them . they don,t care about honor too play football are respecting it too them all about money and the win. as they say karma a + .

    Lol!!

100% within the rules, even that slimeball Harbaugh retracted his comments and said he had no problem with the Pats running the play, his beef was that he felt the refs mishandled the mechanics of it.

This is a non issue, intelligent football play by the Pats.. but come over to Colt land and you'll read stuff like this lol

I hope they use it against The Colts for a game winning TD

  6. I can't believe how the last 50 seconds of the half unfolded..

Patriots run it 3 times to kill Miami's timeouts and punt with 30 seconds left... Miami gets a huge punt return and have 11 seconds from the 34.. i turn to my girlfriend and im like.. they might get 3, Pats will just lick their wounds, play conservative and just make sure they don't get beat deep.

Right after i say that.. Tannehill goes deep to Wallace (most obvious target) who is being covered by BUTLER (WHAT!?) and McCourty is late getting over because they were playing SINGLE SAFETY HIGH! wth!?

UNREAL playcalling on defense in those final 30 seconds.. it was appalling, and the reason the Dolphins are 1 point behind instead of 5.

    Simply unreal.

  7. Actually his body of work in Cleveland was fairly impressive when you look at the circumstances. Baltimore can thank Belichick for much of their success as well. I always laugh when people say Belichick wasn't successful in Cleveland. Pure ignorance.

Nice post, you saved me from having to respond lol..

Belichick took a horrible Cleveland team and got them to the playoffs by his final year.. this was all while being boxed out by the owner who was more focused on moving the team.  There was a lot of backdoor politics and other stuff going on there, but Belichick was still able to take them from a doormat of a team and turn them into a playoff team.

It was a good coaching job given the circumstances, but simple minds will see what they want to see.

  8. Well I think Manning has basically eliminated himself from this conversation at this point with some average to poor performances over the last several weeks

The Broncos are winning despite him, not because of him

Luck has continued to make some bad decisions and certainly hasn't made up any ground.

Rodgers is still the clear cut favorite, with Brady in second and then take your pick between Watt, Murray

  9. I don't think anyone is saying Manning is done, but he has looked off these last few weeks. Granted in his defense he's been facing some tough D's

The zip has been off his balls for awhile now, that's nothing new, but he hasn't performed well lately.

It's a good thing they have that running game going because they'll need that in january, especially if they have to travel to Foxboro
