I was dying laughing when he said, "A man's gotta work." LOL Another great Peyton commercial!

I just felt sick when he missed the field goal! I HATE that the Pats will be in Lucas for a Super Bowl!
-
When they directly asked him about it after the game he downplayed it too. I really like him.

I'm really hoping they draft Luck. I just can't imagine not making that choice! Anyone know if they're replaying the game? I didn't get to see it.
-
I've always liked him. I'm glad some of the haters are starting to see he has promise.

Congrats to he & his wife!

I was really hoping Angerer would be in there! I'm buying that mans' jersey soon! I only own one other jersey....#18. Angerer's impressed me so much this year! I am glad Dwight gets to go though!

The real fans are happy the team has won two games. They were showing pics on the jumbo TV, inside Lucas during a TV time out I believe, on Thursday & they showed some woman holding up a Lose for Luck sign. The booing was pretty loud! I'm happy they won! The fans who stayed until the end of the game were thrilled they won! He should feel proud!

What are you talking about? If they hadn't used the timeouts when they did there wouldn't have even BEEN a last minute drive. You use them on defense because the other team at that point is controlling the clock. They are less valuable on offense because you can hurry up, run out of bounds, or spike it. What he did was absolutely standard practice, and it was perfectly executed.
I've known many games when Dungy (or other coaches for that matter) have had time outs, or at least one, left over when we come back on the offensive drive. In case someone doesn't stop the clock by going out of bounds it's nice to have to stop the clock. I see you didn't address my question about when he called a time out during the Jets game. That one still has me scratching my head.

"resentment"... ??? how about ....... Reality?
This league is a business after all right? Manning has played "zero" downs in the last year and a half.
Look here ... I do want him.... but not at the expense of the franchise. ....
I totally see PM redoing his deal ...
I am really trying to figure out what you mean here. Peyton played all last year. So, it's been under a year since he played. He might restructure his deal, so Wayne will stay, but he's worth everything he is paid if he's healthy. We're talking about the player who COULD have been the highest paid player ever. Instead he took less to make sure other players could be kept!

I was there & watched him doing the interview. I love what he said about, "being a Hoosier." His words about loving the fans were from the heart. There was no PR move there! We already love the guy! I want him back & I hope the Colts make a good offer! I just wish that security hadn't gotten pushy & started getting people out of Lucas! I've never been ordered out of there before. They were literally forcing people out! Nobody watching the interview was being nasty or jockeying for position.

I can't tell you how many times I heard my fellow season ticket holders screaming, "Orlovsky! We have another quarterback!" This went on for WEEKS! When the fans realize a change needs to be made before the coach it's pretty sad. Painter was given a chance & Caldwell's lack of action was inexcusable!
The use of the time outs in the last half of the Texans game was ridiculous! Give me a valid reason that he used them that way & I might excuse him. We should have had some left for the last drive. We won, but we should have had some insurance to help stop the clock besides the 2:00 warning! Plus, don't get me started on the time out mess during the Jets game during the playoffs!
I just find his lack of adjustments in the offense & defense this year & the losses with the talent we had, and we DO have talent, to be enough to merit his firing. Along with the other points I made above!
Do I think he is a nice guy? Yes. But, it takes more than being nice to be a head coach!

You can tell every week from the look on his face that he WANTS to play. He doesn't have to say it at all. (I know we're talking about him saying it to someone, but this is just my feeling.) I can deal with a few more games without him to make sure he is completely healthy when he comes back!

I'll just be rooting for the NFC team this year, but I won't be rude to Patriots fans. ;)
