[Colts vs Texans post game]

I’m not as opposed to designing the play for a relative unknown in Goodson (to throw off the defense) as most here; heck, one of the biggest plays in Colts history was the long completion to Bryan Fletcher at the end of the 2007 afc championship. Unfortunately, I think the moment got to him, looking at the play again yeah the throw wasn’t great but that is one of the worst case of alligator arms I’ve seen in awhile…. if this was a week 3 game I think he catches that easily. This season was found money anyways, the fun (and expectations) really start when our boy AR comes back next season.

In my view AR passes the eye test so far. Its tough to judge a rookie QB when the team can't run (outside of AR himself), so the Jags were able to sit back in coverage a bit. Just looking for steady progression this year, don't think we have what it takes at the offensive skill positions to have a great record, just need to focus on AR's development and hope that leads to some fun, competitive games. I see some trying to compare Manning's rookie season to AR, but I think people are forgetting PM had Marshall freekin Faulk as his safety valve at RB, whereas Deon Jackson has no business' being on an NFL field. The front office has to find someone who is capable enough at RB to at least make the defense respect the run just to free things up a bit for AR, they owe the kid that much.

[Problems and some solutions for 2015]

I know that I am going to get massacred for suggesting this, but don't you think it is time that we start to look for a replacement for Adam vinatieri (draft or FA). I know he was great this season, but I'm afraid his age is going to catch up with him soon. I've also noticed a bit of a pucker factor with some big kicks he has had in the playoffs the last few years, namely the two out of three he missed this postseason, and a short field goal he missed against Baltimore in the 2013 wild card round that really deflated the team, as it would brought them to within 1 score late in the game.
