  1. Surgery will happen for the LCL tear. Andrews will also do exploratory on the ACL while hes in there if its damaged also expect no less than 8 months to recover at best ALA Peterson when stem cells are used as well.

  2. Wrong, Al.  It was posted this morning, so only one half of the second condition has been met.  Pittsburgh needs to lose or you need to win for you guys to be in.

Yeah, it looks like they updated it from the last time I saw the post. It's like a jungle of if then statements that you have to read through now lol.

  3. my point though is that a manning scramble does not equal a griffin scramble, much more conservative and measured in his approach - if Manning would even scramble in that situation....and Manning hurdling a defender is an outlier :) I've seen them all scramble plenty, and those guys are more judicious once they leave the pocket.

I agree mainly you will see they head towards the sidelines and run which in turn usually means they will be pushed out of bounds

  4. I disagree just because of your last sentence. ;) lol

I actually touched on this in my last post.

Thing is, if I didn't see both Manning and Brady scramble this year, when a game wasn't on the line, why would I think they wouldn't run in that situation seeing as important this game was to the Redskins? I just tend to look at the situation before I look at the person.

I didn't see what down it occured on but if it wasn't third then the smart move is throw it away and live to play another down as far as a traditional passer goes in this league

  5. The game winning drive argument is funny to me. Yes its awesome and you can't take nothing away from Luck he is clutch if the games close at the end. But the reason the argument for most 4th qtr game winning drives is because the elite of the elite qb's like Peyton or Brady beat down bad teams. So maybe Luck has more game winning drives but the other qbs might not have as many because they are playing great for 4 qtrs and beating the heck out of teams. Tsarquise is right Luck has been inconsistant, If he takes the checkdown more often and doesnt force balls causing turnovers the Colts would be dominating games. I agree it doesnt matter as long as you win but come playoff time if you turn the ball over 3 plus times your not gonna beat Brady or peyton or Shaub or Big Ben heck you wont even beat Daulton. Its crazy how brilliant he was in the final 5 minutes but how bad he was in the first 3 qtrs. I saw a stat where his QBR through the first 3 Qtrs was like 11.3...the last 5 minutes it was like 137 it was an incredible difference.

I just found this i thought you colts fans would enjoy it. I loved Techmo Bowl as a kid heres the Luck Avery play

The Elite of the Elite (Peyton Manning) a name that you used in your argument for not having many 4th quarter comeback wins has atleast 35 of them. This is at minimum second place with the most comeback wins ever in the 4th quarter. (Couldn't find the most up to date stats so I have him at 35). http://nbcsports.msn.../ns/sports-nfl/ These are the types of comments that drive people nuts here. If you are going to argue please make sure you know the statistics or look them up before you post.

Even Elite QB's have to earn their wins. As its always been stated. "Any given Sunday"

  6. What I don't get is how any Colts fan could be passionate about Andrew Luck. He has only been on the Colts a few months, he hasn't really won anything, he hasn't really dominated any games (maybe the Miami game) we just just had a decade with the father of modern quarter backs, in Peyton Manning, who is still playing and playing at a high level.

I'm just indifferent. To me he is just another rookie on the Colts. He is nothing more, nothing less. Just another rookie who has to prove himself worthy of the pick. And he has a long way to go.

That one is easy man we are Fans of the Colts as you said. What is the term fan short for?

    fa·nat·ic/fəˈnatik/

    Noun:

A person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, esp. for an extreme religious or political cause.

    Adjective:

Filled with or expressing excessive zeal.

As for this entire topic/thread with just over a half season played your sample size for comparing these two amazing athletes is far too small. Both will be great additions to their teams for years to come. Who is better ? only time will tell.
