  1. Yeah any Colts fan worth their salt couldn't possibly ever root for the pats at this point…..like EVER!!!! Is Belicheck a genius of the game? Yeah seems to be so, but he is still a classless jerk that has no morals of competition (spy gate) or common decency (can't even look his opponents in the eye after the game) and makes himself look like a homeless vagrant even though he is the head of one of the top organizations in the NFL (most people dress better to watch the game on their couch), so no, I will never, ever like him. And yes pats fans, EVEN if he coached the Colts! Brady? Well other than the winning, he himself really has not done anything for me to hate him and could respect him. Its the media that actually makes me hate him. Example: last night after the pats picked off the first play and then Brady handed the ball to Blount who barreled in for the TD, the first words out of Dierdorff's mouth were "And there is number 12, Tom Brady showing how its done once again!" Umm what? How is Brady getting credit for that?? The defense got the pick, and the running back ran a straight draw play right up the gut! Pretty sure even our boy Curtis Painter could've handled that one. He is good but gets too much credit for their success. The constant comparisons to Peyton Manning make me the most insane. I feel like Peyton would have 8 Super Bowl rings if he had the well rounded teams around him that Brady has had. 2006 is proof of that. That year the defense was amazing in the playoffs and the running game played over their head. Every game Peyton has ever played, he has had the pressure of knowing that everything was on him. See colts 3 years ago for further proof. the one year he was out they won 3 games. The year Brady was out, Matt Cassel didn't miss a beat. Now Peyton has more tools than ever so it will definitely test this statement at 4pm today. All that said, its not really Tom's fault that I can't like him…..but I just freaking can't! I actually dislike Rivers more, so if Peyton doesn't get it done today……..I still couldn't root for the pats…….so god forbid that happens…..its officially baseball season tomorrow!!!!!

  2. Not saying that calls or non calls don't influence the game, I am just being honest and saying I don't think it was the difference between winning and losing in this one. Past games vs them absolutely, but we had a 1st and goal and couldn't gain a yard…settled for 3! That and the other points I made before were the difference between winning and losing. The punt in the 4th quarter allowing the pats to eat almost 8 minutes off the clock being the biggest. Cant score if your are not on the field!

I agree with you and we should call nonsense when it occurs, but as a forever colts fan I don't want to belittle ALL OF THOSE OTHER times when it has happened against the Pats by going to it when there were bigger factors at play. We had our chances tonight and didn't execute. I mean that PI call I think you are questioning….I started cursing and threw the flag on that one before the refs did! When you are not looking at the ball, its going to get called EVERY SINGLE TIME!

  3. I have definitely blamed games vs the pats in the past but the refs did not ruin this game. Yes some calls were missed but we just got beat. Some big miscues and IMO bad coaching decisions were the big factors. Kneeling down going into halftime with 30 seconds left and 2 time outs, punting on 4th and 1 down by 3 TDs in the 4th qtr, a stupid pass interference on a pats 3rd and 8 and many, many missed tackles just to name a few. Colts played hard and lost. Thats it. It was a great year and the past two were better than anyone can expect, so lets enjoy that. Still "Building the Monster"

For now, Go Peyton. For next year and beyond…Go Colts!

  4. Well since you brought up the coaching and sending in the plays, can anyone explain the coach sending in the play of "punt" when we were 4th and 1 and down by 3 TDs in the 4th quarter and allowing the pats a chance at running the clock out? That is one sure way I see the coaches affecting the game. Did they really not have the confidence in their offense to get 1 yard at that key point in the game? A score there could have changed the tempo of the game.
