That's ^ the biggest stretch since I saw Irsay compared to the late George Steinbrenner. What a joke.
So the team was largely built around Manning for over a decade and he's been paid at the top of his profession with enough money in the bank to secure his entire family 10,000 times over plus any charity work he wants to do. Now, with serious health concerns of one man bearing on the future of a commitment Jim Irsay has with the city of Indianapolis through 2034 together with thousands of dependant families and business owners.......not to mention fans everywhere.......you tell me what loyalty is.
Loyalty is not all about money. But you seem like the ilk that doesn't know that, unless it happens to you then you whine. Before PM, the Colts had hard time giving tickets away. Irsay didn't play one down and he made heck of lot more money than PM. How do you know PM's health status?! That's right you don't. I'm not your parent, look up the word in the dictionary, that way i won't have to tell you how loyalty is defined. IRSAY/JONES.

Have you ever played a sport? Issues like this should be kept in house, both by the player and the owner. Comparing Irsay to Jones is comical, other than the fact that they are both owners. As for as loyalty goes, Irsay showed a lot of loyalty with that $26 million last year.
I have played sports. HAVE YOU?! The comparison to Jones is on target. Jones got rid of all his best folks and hasn't won superbowl in how long?!! I can't hear you. If you had ever played on successful teams you would know the energy between a player and the other personnel is key. As for the 26 mil, Irsay paid PM, was what he was owed according to his contract. What did Irsay make from PM services? He didn't do him any favors. Let's see how comical the comparison is when a new qb comes in and has to listen to impatient Colt fans. Incidentally, I pay to see PM take the field not Irsay.

Irsay has got lot of nerve! Peyton is a grown man and can say what he wants to say. Must be very toxic there because Peyton has never spoken out before. The Colts are going the way of Dallas Cowboys. Meddling owner and wanna be celebrity owner, Jerry Jones/Jim Irsay. These meddling owners forget that they pay salaries and are not players themselves. If Manning goes I go. I think he has another super bowl in him. There is no loyalty anymore, even if you help build a team. Business or not loyalty is still important.

Irsay has gutted this team. When he wouldn't pay Marvin I stayed. This season's gut is way over the top for me. I don't live in the city, so if Manning is cut then my money for team gear etc. will follow him. Sometimes you can get a little too cute for your own good Irsay!

Colts don't need a poor character coach. He turns his head when players are doing things they shouldnt be doing. Plus he has zero emotion, worse than the last Jim. We need to move away from that. Also for me, I'm a HUGE Michigan fan and it would make me sick. I can't stand him being a part of the Colts organization.

I agree. Bad chrcter since Maurice Clarett days. Clarett was no angel, but he called Tressel just right!!!

Polian won't be "snapped up" unless he changes his management style and accepts a GM position with far less power than he had in Indy. What happened in Indy was a mistake and he should have never had the authority he had.
Totally agree with you!!

Tressel. I hope NOTHe's done... listening to Polian lately says it all.
The question is ... Who replaces him, I have a feeling it will be Tressel.

Just wondering what you guys think about maybe turner being colts new head coach. I personally would rather have Jeff fisher but I hear people saying they want turner.
Are you kidding me. Norv NEVER wins anywhere he goes. SD would have won a superbowl, had they kept Schottenheimer

I dont totaly agre with cozy..but he's an average guy....
We dont run much misdirection...we dont go deep that much and we dont emphasize the run...
Our offense is deisgned for the QB to be a GREAT player...
He has to hit the passes that Curtis misses or throws to the wrong shoulder...or throws a second too late..
Our offense is built to be run by the old country boy...
You have some good points too, but .... lol

Honestly at this point, the entire team seems like they are disgusted by the coaching too. THey certainly play like it.

Painter is just really BAD. Period.

BREAKING NEWS!
Jim Irsay has filed rape charges against the New Orleans Saints organization.
The report reads "The indianapolis Colts were invited into the home of the New Orleans Saints Sunday night at approximately 8:30 PM. They were just sitting down to dinner when the entire Colts team ingested the drug Rufinol, which was added to the Gatorade drinks provided them by the suspects in question, and subsequently passed out. While unconscious, the Saints proceeded to undress and assualt the Colts brutally, even video taping the incident and broadcasting the assault across national airwaves for the entire nation to witness the dignity robbing vile acts performed upon them. Quarterback Drew Brees was listed as the ringleader, reportedly violating the Colts every orifice while the defensive squad of the Saints held the barely conscious victims down for over 3 hours".
lol......seriously, maybe we should file charges. This was the third biggest blowout in NFL history, spanning a gap of over 70 years.
TOO FUNNY. LOL LOVE IT

Right, except Painter has proven he is a more than capable backup. In fact, I think the guy could be pretty good given the chance. I am sure if Painter was in Cassel's shoes several years ago in New England he would have a similar record as Cassel.
Painter IS NOT a capable backup!

Whatever the painter defense will be this week.
His attempt at the no-huddle tonight was like something straight out of "The Benny Hill Show"
I thought the same exact thing! lol

I didn't see the post game, but plugging away is not gonna work. The QB is terrible, the defense, and defensive coaches, the offensive line are all TERRIBLE. IF Caldwell said we need to just keep plugging away, then it's time for him to go. It is wayyyyy past time to panic. I knew it would be bad w/o Peyton, but this is ridiculous.

I never attempted to give you lessons. I said look it up! A decade of litigation says it all. My days are usually good.
