Its funny he wont take a pay cut but no team is going to pay him anywhere close to 16m,not with him starting to slow. He be lucky to get 10m after he gets hit with a reality check.
Starting to slow? He was one of the top rated corners last season on PFF coming off of ACL surgery and in a system that doesn't play to his strengths.
You're deluded if you think Revis won't get 10m, we just paid an inferior player to Revis 10m, the reason he won't adjust his contract is he wants to be cut so he can pick his team, maybe he will take a little less to play somewhere once he's a FA.

For us to get Revis that means Toler would have to be released. We wouldn't lose anyone next offseason because the cap is going again increase.
Except the quarterback is going to be paid, that's going to be a big chunk of money.

The only reason we overpaid for Davis is Grigson didn't want to have wasted a 2nd round pick.
He better live up to his contract, Davis got the extra for playing man coverage as opposed to cover 2.

Decker probably wants to play for a team who can pay him decent money but has a QB, i would happily give him $7-$8m a year look at the numbers he put up with Kyle Orton.
It makes sense that he would want to join a team with a long term quarterback especially a young one.
How can anyone be completely sold on any reciever on this team except TY and Reggie?

How about this team stinks without Luck carrying it, stick Andy Dalton at QB and you win 3 or 4 games.
This team wouldn't even sniff the playoffs unless Luck goes gunslinger, can't run the ball, can't stop a nosebleed on defense and can't protect the QB, the defense against KC was an embaressment and it was a miracle Andrew was able to win that game.

Big contracts can't be avoided when it comes to your QB, you have no choice but to pay them.
Don't wanna pay Luck $20m a year when his contract is up? Well he won't resign and someone else will pay that $20m and then you have no quarterback.
Big contracts for QB's limit what you can do but the alternative is the Jaguars or Browns offense the past decade, QB's agents know this which is why you have no choice even for guys who haven't won a championship.

Manning & Brady are done winning Super Bowls, neither will win another ring.
Both will continue to put up good stats in the regular season but not in the post season.

Luck should be NFL MVP for carrying this steaming pile of crap coaching staff, GM and owner to the playoffs.
This team has 2 win talent, it's horrible.
I can't believe we gave up a 1st rounder for Richardson, that's worth firing the GM alone.

I can't feel that posative, i think this team has done an absolutely horrible job of overpaying for poor players, wasting a 1st round pick on a running back and hiring a guy who is out of his depth as an NFL OC.
Take out Luck and this is one of the worst teams in the NFL, that's just the reality, this is just the same old soft Colts with a horrible defense who can't run the ball the coaching staff just haven't accepted it yet.
Apart from lucking into a good talent at QB most of the other decisions made in personnel and hiring of staff have been downright poor.

Pep Hamilton is the worst, he runs this offense like he has Walter Payton in the backfield and Trent Dilfer at QB.
He's stubborn in his ways and refuses to accept his offense doesn't work only when they abandon his offense in the 3rd and 4th Q's do they have any success.
I see little to be posative about in 2014 with him as the OC, he's going to stunt Lucks developement.

Pep Hamilton is incompetant, his offense doesn't work and it's been proven by what happens in the first half every single week the only way this team scores points is by abandoning his offense and letting Luck throw the ball every down.
I don't understand why this teams staff thinks they're the Chiefs and can win running the ball and playing defense, newsflash the defense is garbage and the running game is worse than garbage and by the time they let Luck play like he should it's 21-0, if i was Andrew Luck when my contract expired i would go play somewhere where my skills are used properly and the coaching staff doesn't think im Alex Smith Jr.
Anyone who doesn't agree with this just doesn't see the whole picture, you draft an elite talent and try and make him a game manager in a league where everyone is throwing the ball and i wouldn't mind if they could actually run the ball but how often can you plough into the line for 0 yards on 1st and 2nd down every week before you change your ways, what on earth is this franchise doing?
