  1. Luck didn't look that great against Oregon you can say it was just 1 game. But this imo was just a test of how he would perform against a good defense. There will be much more and much better defenses in the nfl. So I definitely think you get luck then trade him for more picks or you end up in the exact same boat you are in now. With no guarantee Luck will be "great". We have to improve on defense, the oline, special teams really all aspects of this team. And without any changes in the coaching staff I dont think it matters who we draft they would be doomed to fail or get injured.

  2. Anyone who thinks calling 3 qb sneaks in a period of a minute is good play calling needs to spend less time playing madden and more time watching real football. And even then the td pass that was caught by Clark was luck, and was almost thrown away. Come on this team has showed 0 improvement, and if anything has significantly regressed since Dungy left. I didnt think anyone could be a worse d coordinator then our previous one but Cowyer has sure showed me I was wrong. Caldwell looks lost on the field , and almost half asleep most of the time. He is emotionless and a poor leader, even in his press conferences they are poorly executed does he even believe the nonsense he spews? I just hope that this joke of a staff does not put Peyton back in especially since this season is a loss and risk him getting injured to save their jobs.

  3. Again did we have any sacks today? To think this defense improved is a joke at best. Neither one of these teams looked playoff worthy but we just looked almost like a poorly coached high school team, poor execution = poor coaching. Again we are out played in the second half. Again we have virtually no return game, we all but abandoned the run in the second half. I seriously think we have the single worst coaching staff in the nfl period!

  4. They run the same inept defense that has proved not to work for years. I am sure they will not change it as long as this same lack luster coaching staff remains. Very passive, just a bend don't break philosophy that the colts like to use. It barely works when Peyton is healthy but now that he is not, the obvious flaws are aparent.

  5. ok pundents lets hear the defense for this bafoon this week, although i did see a half time adjustment. we stopped throwing the ball and rode the back of donald brown! brilliant. this

staff needs to go. no more excuses. next staff up. this team should be 4-1, i know i am not a true fan. if being a true fan means supporting jim caldwell than you might be right i am not a true fan.

heck of a game o line and painter you guys were awesome!!! noW give a blank stare and a TIMEOUT! O AND THROW IN A JEFF FISHER TOO. luv the shoe, but not the CALD.

I actually agree Caldwell was inherited a team somewhat the same way Gruden inherited the Bucs. Caldwell was never successful as a coach prior to this. Coyer made a Broncos deffense much worse. It is time to get past this passive non agressive style of play. Manning is a great quarterback but he is not going to be here forever. Stop trying to ride this joke of a tampa 2 style of defense and rebuild now.

  6. Coming close only counts in hoarseshoes and hand grenades. If statistically we are at the bottom in about every category, you can't get much worse then that. Defensively I think this is by far the worse defense team we have ever had here. Just because we get sacks but the same players consistently over pursue every play after that..what else can be said.

  7. The tampa 2 deffense flat out does not work anymore. It hasnt been successful since Dungy came. Yes we may occasionaly get a sack but who needs to pass when you allow almost 10 yards a carry. Larry Coyer was a mistake he was no good as a coach in Denver and he has proven to be even worse here in indy. It may be close to the time to think about rebuilding the defense, and at least drafting a qb to develop under Manning. But even with Manning healthy with the amount of time the defense is on the field it will be tough to be successful.
