  1. aren't the games on in the wee hours of the morning over there?

It all depends on the scheduling.

One of the benefits us being so poor this year is that the majority of the games are on at 6pm our time which is perfect for me.

The only real struggle for me is if we're primetime on Sunday or Monday evenings as those games kick off at 1.25am our time. I still watch these live though, just stock up on energy drinks for work the next day!

  2. I'm an out of country fan living in Leeds, England.

I watch every game via NFL Gamepass. I do intend to make it to Indianapolis to a game in the near future but it'll cost me the equivilant of $2000 so it's going to take some saving on my part!

Most of my friends are Patriots fans over here, which made last night almost unbareable!

  3. Yes, I am sure Bill Polian and Jim Irsay got together and decided..."you know, we have won for a decade, let's just see if we can lose every game this year. I mean, Peyton is out, so let's just lose." That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. The Pacers are an example of what happens when you lose in this city. You go from being important to not being able to give away a ticket. There is no way they want to lose. Nothing sells more Superbowl's in the future like going 0-16.

They are just genuinely terrible. They can't tackle, the can't defend, the can't pass block, they can't run block...they just stink. Their coaching staff is rotten. Nice guys, but terrible coaches. My hope is that they can the coaching staff in 9 weeks.

Hey at least that means I may see them at Wembley one day!

  4. I don't think they're tanking, they're just really bad!

Can you imagine the likes of Saturday and Brackett allowing the owners dictate to the players that they must lose every week?!

Look at effort put in by the likes of Saturday and Angerer every week, that would be non existant if they were purposely tanking!

  5. That is not even a possibility imo, the #1 pick is worth too much. Now that the salaries are in check, if they don't want Luck, they could trade that pick for another teams 1st rd pick and a bunch more stuff. Those guys will be around a while, they aren't all going to be gone in the first 10 picks.

I say if you have the #1 pick, take Luck. He will cost you about the same as Collins did this year if we are comparing to what Newton got last draft. We still have the rest of the draft to help on defense.

But if someone is willing to throw the kitchen sink at the Colts for the #1 pick, think about it. Barkley looked pretty good in that USC/Stanford game too. If you can get him with another teams 1st rd pick and pick up either players or a handful of other picks, do it.

Agree with you about trading potentially. I actually think this is an excellent class of Quarterbacks this year. I'd be happy with Barkley, Jones or Moore!

  6. With that said im not gonna even bother trying to continue this cause you obviously dont know what you are talking about... lets just forget the long passes to garcon, of the 15+ out routes to reggie wayne on the side line... lol smh, with every game painter is getting more confident and with every game the colts are letting him take the reigns a bit that is evident with how many passes he threw...

His pass completion percentage is just over half, like I said, not good enough!

  7. I've conceeded that we'll probably never play the International Series game, so I've finally decided to bite the bullet and travel over for my first live Colts game, and was just wondering if some of you would be kind enough to answer my questions.

Looking at next year's probable schedule, I like the Jets road game so I can make a bit of a Holiday of things in New York.

What is the situation with tickets?

Obviously I know that there's the fan ticket exchange, but do the Colts sell an allocation in a designated block of Colts fans? If so, how do I go about buying direct from the Colts?

Does it matter where you sit in the stadium?! I presume that you're free to sit any section of the ground with no trouble, but I figurered I'd ask anyway as over here you're forced to sit with home and away fans in designated areas in Soccer.

And finally, what are your tips for getting the most from Game Day? It's going to cost about £1500 all together for my trip so I want to get the most from it.

    Thanks in advance

    Jordan

  8. Really and thats his fault? did you actually watch the game? most of those completions were short quick passes... it was the game plan obviously to throw those short passes, the colts receivers never ran any complicated routes which explains why the receivers were covered so well... the colts seem out matched in every game because they arent being put in the position to win their games and because of mistakes... you can also add lack of talent on defense as well.

I did watch the game yes, and it's the same problem every week.

Against Tampa everyone went mental about how well Painter played, actually if you think back, the long plays were down to the skill of Garcon, not Painter!

Teams have now worked out that he's only ever going to throw these short passes and he's unable to complete anything long with any accuracy, meaning that we offer very little on offence.

  9. Excellent article and I have to say I agree with pretty much all of it, except that I really don't like Garcon all that much.

I particularly agree with the point made about Angerer and Conner, those two look excellent and in the future we may have two of the league's better linebackers.

  10. His latest tweets basically say that just because we can all see there are problems coming, it doesn't mean it's easy to solve them.

Well if us as fans spotted there were problems ahead, one would hope people within the Franchise would have spotted them and acted to stop them happening, evidently this isn't the case!

  11. Terrible idea.

Do not doubt Manning's resolve, he will be back and as good as ever. What sense does it make to trade the best QB to ever play the game for a few picks that may or may not pan out? I am in the "draft Luck and keep Manning" club.

I'm not doubting that Manning wants to be back, but at his age, and with that type of injury, it may never be possible to him to physically do the things he used to on a consistant basis again!

  12. I actually think Delone Carter has been one of the positives of the season so far! For a rookie in his first few games I've been sort of impressed by him when he's gotten carries of the football! He certainly offers something different from Addai and Brown as he's more of a power back.
