  1. I see that there's still a ton of classy Colts fans. Good to see. Peyton was the face of the Indianapolis Colts, won a championship for Indy, and then was cut. It's not like he took off for more money and left you high and dry. If he had his choice, he never would have left Indy. Good to see that some fans are appreciative of that and want him to succeed once the Colts are out.

  2. I was wrong about Luck. I thought he was the next Peyton Manning. He's not. He reminds me so much of John Elway it's nuts. Gunslinger, big arm, fearless, mobile, and interceptions don't bother him. Whether the Colts win or lose this game, his legend builds.

  3. Here's a little known fact Indy fans. The Chiefs have beaten exactly one team with a winning record all year long, and that was the Eagles in the 3rd week of the season when they were still trying to figure out their new system. The Chiefs being a good team is the biggest hoax in the NFL this year.

    Indy- 31

    Chiefs- 20

  4. Gavin;

Champ has slowed up...the only Colt he can guard is Reggie..

    But you're right....He cheats a lot because he knows what's coming ....

Andrew's 'bail out'; guy under pressure is Reggie and he has to be careful because Champ obviously knows that and will stay in his neighborhood.

That's a great matchup because they're both slick

Pro Football Focus disagrees....Champ graded out as the 4th best corner in the NFL in 2012-

    4. Champ Bailey, Denver Broncos (+38.5)

While the most recent memory of Bailey is that playoff game, let’s not forget how good he’d been throughout the 2012 regular season and long before that. The Broncos have never been shy about asking a lot of Bailey, and he’s responding by delivering time and time again.

His stats may never capture the hearts and mind of the public (though 10 interceptions and 39 pass defenses are nothing to be sniffed at), but Bailey’s ability to shut down top receivers and limit the yardage they get is what defines him.

  5. You cant disquise coverages well enough..you cant fool him...you have to hurry him

Dallas rushed 4 and dropped 7....and gave up 51

You have to make Peyton rush or you have no chance....

We don't have Ed Reed or Revis...

We cant drop 7 or 8 guys and cover them. Remember..Chuck Pagnao is a Raven.......what did they do?

The Eagles blitzed Manning all day......and gave up 52. Pick your poison.

  6. Denver's line is well beyond make-shift. Our center was the 3rd string center coming into training camp. He was playing guard at the beginning of camp, and 2 centers were lost 2 injury. Clady is out, and Chris Clark, who had never started a game before the season is the starting left tackle. Orlando Franklin will be out this week, so our right guard will be playing tackle. The only true starter playing his position on Denver's line Sunday night will be left guard Zane Beadles.

  7. Here's the real stats for drop rates-

    Eric Decker- 10%

    Reggie Wayne- 8%

    TY Hilton- 7%

    Wes Welker-8%

    Demaryius Thomas- 4.1%

    Coby Fleener-3.7%

    DHB- 3.6%

    Julius Thomas- 2.3%

    According to the Sportingcharts website.

  8. Running the ball against the Broncos sounds good in theory, but it doesn't work. The Broncos are #1 in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game. Before you tell me that it's because everyone is passing against them to catch up, let me point out that they are #2 in the NFL in yards per carry allowed. This is without Von Miller on the field up until Sunday night. Not only is he a premiere pass rusher, he was 2nd in the NFL in tackles for a loss last season trailing only JJ Watt. You're going to have to score 50 to beat the Broncos on Sunday.

  9. A friend of mine and I were talking about this today. The Colts went out and drafted the best young QB in the game, and then turn their offense into a 3 yards and a cloud of dust debacle. I don't get it. Luck can throw the ball as well as most QB's in the game today, and the Colts are essentially taking the ball out of his hands constantly. It makes no sense to me, especially with the NFL rules designed to accommodate the passing game.

  10. I think Welker will have his biggest game in a Broncos uniform to date. With the Broncos missing both of their starting offensive tackles going into this game, the pass rush might be the biggest wildcard for the Colts. Welker provides the quickest outlet in the NFL. The guy is amazing at finding the gap in the D quickly. I have a feeling that the Broncos will have a lot of quick hits over the middle against the Colts D.

  11. Did anyone expect anything other than a classy response from Manning? I think he'll answer Irsay's comments with his play on the field. I also have no doubt that he will come away feeling nothing but love from the Indy fans.

  12. The only way they will be matched up is if DT is on the left side of the formation smh

Shake your head all you want to. If the Colts are playing him on one side, they're wasting the talent of a good cover corner. He should be covering the opponents top receiver, regardless of where he lines up.

  13. Peyton doesn't need any bulletin board material for this game. We all know he circled this one as soon as the schedule came out. He had his off game last week against Jacksonville. He's going to come into Indy ready to roll up the points like he does every week. The Broncos are averaging 44 points per game, even after their off day against Jax. Now that they have Von Miller and Champ Bailey back the defense should be back to normal, which was 3rd best in points allowed last season. If Indy doesn't bring their A game, this one could get ugly.
