Somehow Sport Center is going to give Tim Tebow credit for this win.
Dan Orlovsky played for the Lions, Tebow plays for the Broncos. The Broncos beat the Lions this year. So...
Tebow gets first win for the Colts!!!!!

I still don't see us getting the first pick. Peyton will probably be back in December (the team needs to see what he brings back from injury before going into the offseason) and that could mean 3-4 wins for the team before ending the year.
I don't see Miami winning any games because, frankly, there's no hope to improve for them before the season ends.
I don't see a chance at Luck for us, and at least a part of me is happy. There could be a lot of possible negative endings around it, and if Manning comes back we have the next 2-3 years to get a good prospect to learn a pair more years behind him (remember Rodgers was drafted in the 20's, so we should get a chance at a real QB before Manning retires.
For now, surround him with elite talent, the kind of talent that can get a win at a crucial moment (other than Mathis or Freeney, I don't see any of that in the Defense), and we can have a real shot the next 4 years.

Feeling really bad for Bullitt about this, but I like this. The guy didn't deserve starting caliber money and he'll probably get cut at the end of the season.
Let's see what the new guys can show.

I really think that if we are around 4-6 or 5-5 by the 11th game we could see Peyton back. 11-5 would be probably a lock to enter the Playoffs, maybe even win the Division so I hope we start something going in the next 3 games, all with good winning chances.

how well has Costanzo played? Nevis played much? Hughes mad any contribution yet?
Castonzo was basically flawless like the last 2 games. He allowed a sack/fumble but it had more to do with Painter not getting rid of the ball than him.
Nevis had his first real shot at contributing and did ome good plays, disrupting some plays in the middle.

What will keep me going on every loss is the thought of the impact help Manning will get in next year's Draft. Trying not to think what it could be with him on the field.
ALSO, watching the Bills destroy the Patriots was extremely pleasant.

I expect a Draft excatly like the one in 2010 but on the secondary.
I wouldn't mind seeing us getting SS and CB in Rounds 1-2. This team has desperate need on that area.
So at least I see Lacey, maybe Tryon cut, and I wouldn't be suprised to see Bullitt cut. The guy clearly has no satrting material, and is a decent back-up at best. We've seen the best SS play last night by Lefeged, who has probably parcticed like 3 times with the first team Defense.

It would be a big relief, but they're not so easy to find. I expect to see someone get Drafted next year. We have passed on DeSean Jackson, Johnny Knox and players of that style.
Next year Reggie's contract is up, and I don't expect to see Gonzo back, so I think it's a great possibility to see a true playmaker at WR drafted in the 2nd or 3rd Round.

Castonzo has been a revelation. I haven't seen the guy make a single mistake in both games. He's also the only guy (not really sure about Diem) that hasn't allowed a sack, and nearly no pressures with that. We have to build our line around him.
The backs were really good, and complimented perfectly.
Finally on Defense there's not much to like. But Freeney had some good pressures today, Angerer played extremely solid at MIKE (watch out Brackett) and Bethea was his usual self, making great plays, particularly a play where he tackled Hillis for no gain, he completely destroyed him.

Carter and Castonzo look amazing. Rookies really stepping up.

A bright spot on the game (and really promising) was the play of Castonzo. I rewatched the game and both on run and pass blocking he had great performance. Even on the first fumble by Collins up the middle, he was completely manhandling Mario Williams.
Trying to look for good things out of this game is difficult right now, but at least our first selection has gone to a great start (something the last two have failed to do).
On the other hand, Link is probably gonna be replaced in the next couple of weeks. On both sacks by Mario Williams he was supposed to help Dallas. You could see that because in both plays he went for the double team inside at first and then tried to come back in a hurry to help Clark. Obviously, he didn't have a chance at reaching them.
