  1. Yesterday was a major statement win.  The Colts have now beaten the two teams that many felt were the Super Bowl favorites out of the NFC.   They are no longer the feel good story of a team that won 11 games for their coach fighting cancer.  They are viewed as a legit contender.  I will also say with the Broncos coming to town in two weeks NBC would love the chance to be able to bill that game as a match up of not just Manning vs his old team in the house he built but as the best two teams in the AFC.

Sure do wish the Miami game went the other way.

  2. I think it's so great that we have a GM that's willing to make these types of trades.

He's passionate, he's always working to improve the team and the franchise and he doesn't shy away from risky and imposing situations.

    Four more years!!!

Couldn't agree more. I just wish he could snap his fingers and stop the injuries.

  3. Trent Richardson, Per Terry Pluto (Cleveland Plain Dealer), thoughts?  Sounds a bit risky all the sudden?  I thought it was just the broken ribs, but I guess I haven't been reading articles deep enough.  Just saw that on ESPN.

ESPN also said he will keep #33. Is that true or does he wear #34, that I saw on the Colts website. I know #33 is already taken

  4. You can go in motion but you must become set again, Reggie didn't!

Consistency is all I want. I think we beat ourselves, shot us in our own foot. If the refs could be on the same page throughout the league, there could be no reason to complain. I wouldn't want their job. Action is so fast in all pro sports especially in the NFL.

  5. this isn't Madden. More "talent" doesn't always mean better production immeadiately. It takes time to gel. There are a lot of new faces and a whole new offensive scheme. Everyone needs to pump the brakes and relax.

Couldn't agree more. We'll be ok, lighten up doom & gloom thinkers. The only complaint I have is I see we are ranked 5th in the league in average yards per rush at 5.0 yds.per play. Might not be the greatest run stopping opponents we'll play, but it's the NFL & 5 yds. per play is not shabby. I hope we can run the ball more throughout the season & give Luck more time in the passing game via play action passes.

  6. ...and that team might be Cincy.  There's always a sexy pre-season pick who underachieves during the season.  Also, NE finally looks vunerable and all the injuries/defections will catch up with Brady.  Don't be surprised if Miami overtakes NE and wins the east.

We can go 10-6 and be a much better team than the one who went 11-5.  We'll have a sense of where this team is after the 1st Hou game.

With this team, I'd still rather go 10-6 as a WC and have another one & done in the playoffs than miss the playoffs entirely for a higher draft pick.

I agree 10-6 & get a wild card right behind Houston.

  7. Just like Vic Ballard flourished when Brown got hurt last season.

    Its Donald Brown's time now.

Ahmad Bradshaw is unlikely to play 75% of the snaps....

Brown is a quality blocker and a secure ballhandler...and he's the big play back..

Last year of his contract.....his time is now....He was very good in the pre-season...and they threw him the ball..

He's healthy....He certainly wasnt overworked in week one...and this is a (home, conference) game we cannot lose ...if we're going to make the playoffs.

I feel a big game coming.

Bradshaw is looking good also. Run the ball more Pep. Run the ball & set up the play action game. That could be awesome
