I remember when everyone on the forums was giving up on him...during the offseason.

Hopefully T-Rich, Ballard and Brown. I don't think Brown is dumb enough to ask for a big contract. He knows he won't get it here, or anywhere else for that matter.

If i had to hazard a guess, i would say he doesn't see any action this year. same as what we did with chapman last year.
Oh wow I didn't realize how serious his injury was. Hope to see him do well next year.

A player getting a concussion and fumbling and a defender getting his hand in on the ball and breaking up a play are not excuses. Just reasons for people to not overreact about Fleener if you ask me....
The defender actually didn't get his hand on the ball. It was clear on the replay that it was a perfect throw. Just a silly mistake from Fleener.

How do you know he's afraid of being hit? It could simply be that he's making mental mistakes?
I don't really know. I was just going off what other people were saying earlier.
I like to think Fleener will improve on his drops like Hilton has by week 1.

Nope. He dropped 3 passes. He wasn't even top 15 among TEs let alone TEs+WRs.
Well that settles that then. Maybe he's just having some bad luck these past two games.
I don't know how he's going to overcome being afraid to get hit though.

It goes back to last year though, drops and him playing scared were problems all year last year. Nothing we have seen so far this preseason indicates anything has changed.
Did he have a lot of those last year? I honestly can't remember.
But like I said, if he can't sort his problems out by week 1, there are no excuses left.

I think we're being a bit harsh on him for essentially 3 drops. Hopefully he has his issues sorted our by week 1 though. After that there is no excuse.

Why is everyone so high up on Rogers? There's a reason other teams let him go. Not saying he can't be good in the future, but some of you already have him starting.
