That's a good point and I shouldn't fall into the trap of comparing this season to last as a like for like due to the difference in playbooks. However I do think he will still get a fair few looks in 2WR sets (I can see him and DHB rotating to start with unless on establishes himself), and I'd imagine he'd be used as well in WR screens etc. I'd be interested to see if they do ever put Hilton outside and whether he can play there. My knee jerk reaction would be no due to the lack of height but you never know.

 

Of course until the first kick off of the season this is just pure speculation... but we need to fill the off season somehow

Very Tru! The first few games would be a rotation of #2 between them, I think that's until Luck establishes who he likes throwing to more when they are in. Or in DHB case, if he drops the ball too many times when he's in.

Oh BTW you're team is stacked. IF you keep FOSTER and AJ GREEN and suggest PPR you can really set yourself up for a successful season. Unless you have Ray Rice too.

I got my own Fantasy question... Do  you think DHB or TY Hilton would be WR2 opposite of Reggie and stays on field during 2 TE sets.

Only one person has mentioned specifically Ricky Jean. BTW you guys should ask him to do the PEANUT BUTTER JELLY. He's been great with the 9ers, and he's been solid filling in on their front 7. Now with him starting, he's definitely gonna improve the RUN DEF. Hopefully he can get a lot of TACK 4 Loss, couple of SACKS, and a FF

Quoted this post for brevity, but I agree with your original sentiments that a 1000 yards would be an exceptional season as he might not be limited just by his talent. Say Andrew has a great season and throws for 4,500 yards. It would be sensible to assume that 1,000 yards go to Reggie. If TY matches last season than call it another 900 yards. 2,600 yards then split among DHB, Fleener, Allen, Havali, Brown, Brazil, Wr no.5 (TBD ). I can't see any of those getting to a 1000 yards though I won't complain if they do!

 

So in this you are considering T.Y Hilton to get more looks on the field. If they use more 2 TE sets, who will be the 2 WRs that will be on the field? Must consider that the slot will be filled by TE. In those situation I thought TY would probably be out, because he would fit the slot in 3WRs set
