Zbikowski (PS you butchered his name LOL ) is still a viable backup if LaRon were to get hurt for a game and Zbikowski can contribute on special teams.

Backup and on Special Teams...that's fine and good.  As a STARTER?  NOOOOoooooo!  I'd be fine if we kept for for the duties you suggested.  But not as a starter.

Good signing depending on the $ involved.  4 yrs $24Million, $14Million guaranteed.  Seems a bit high.  Spotty in coverage but he can lay some wood.

[Tom Brady supposedly Enraged over Wes Welker being disgraced]

They've been backing off of this story for a few hours now saying that the "source close to Brady" is the person actually expressing the outrage...NOT Brady.  So who really knows what's going on?

 

 I've lurked to some NE message boards and the fans there are 50-50 at best (most are * about Welker).  Calling out BB and Kraft.  Whoever has seen that on a PATS forum?  

 

I think we may be seeing the beginning of the end in NE.  Brady can't play forever.  And why would he want to?  Have you seen his wife (that makes alot more $ than him) and kids and house?

 

Just ride off into the sunset, Tom.  Play golf, service the wife and tend the cute kids.  RELAX...you've earned it.  You're set for life.

We've seen the end of the Ravens playoff runs.  They've vastly overpaid Flacco and it is effecting the rest of the roster...no matter what current & former players & coaches say.

 

Good riddance to bad rubbish.  I hate the Ravens.  Not so much the players, but their fans.  These people still harbor a seething hatred of Indianapolis for "stealing" their Colts.  When they did the same thing and stole the Browns from Cleveland (minus the lawsuit to keep the records) they had NO PROBLEM doing so.  And then they won a Super Bowl.  Cleveland still has -zero-. 

 

I hope to see bottom-feeder Ravens teams until the day I shuffle off this mortal coil.

Amendola IS a poor man's Welker who has no chemistry with Tom Brady.  I think we're finally seeing the beginning of the end of NE prominence in the AFC and NFL at large.    

 

At least they saved a whole $2 million by not resigning Welker.
