The fumble was simply unacceptable. I see some making excuses saying he was blasted by 2 guys as if somehow that would make the fumble any less terrible. But if you actually watch the play, the guy who causes the fumble is the tackler directly in front of Fleener who he seen the whole time. The guy that comes in from the backside is not the one who caused it. Just terrible ball security from Fleener, he had the ball in one arm the entire time. The TD that was missed was not as blatant, but still needs to be caught if Fleener wants to be a great tight end. He has to secure the ball quicker.

They might just have been the luckiest team in NFL history. They were outscored by 30 points for the season and they won 11 games. They got every game break a team could ever hope for. They had very few injuries. I see no way they will repeat that record but I think they will be a much better team. I see 8-8 and a game either way would not be a big surprise.

Point differential means little when they were blown out in 2 games.

I didn't think about it but imagine if Luck would have declared for the 2011 NFL Draft. I wonder if the Panthers, Titans, Jaguars, 49ers, or Bills would have picked him up. I highly doubt he would have been as good with those teams and gave him more time for experience.

 

Then if we would have won the last game of the season in 2011. We would have had the 2nd pick. St Louis would have possibly had the 1st pick. Any team could have traded ahead of us to get that spot for Andrew Luck. We would have ended up with RG3.
