  1. When is this team ever healthy?

My friend....I gotta tell ya that injuries are all over the league. We cant use the injury crutch like others would like to. Bill Belichik went 11-5 when Brady went down. Packers won the frigging SB with 13 starters on IR. We are no exception....except for a super nice guy that plays a horrible head coach for our beloved Colts!

  2. Good article....I found another one that makes a lot of good, similar points.

    http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/jim-harbaugh-san-francisco-49ers-doing-everything-right-indianapolis-colts-jim-caldwell-not-101811

Bottom line out of all of these articles is Caldwell needs to be fired! I dont think he will be fired this season, but at the rate we are losing and our schedule does NOT get easier, the end of year record will give more than enough reason to fire him. The Polian family essentialy calling the shots for our beloved Colts are suspect as well.

Peyton, Jeff, Dallas, Reggie, Dwight, Robert are no dummies....If I were Irsay I would sit each one down and asks them candidly "What needs to happen for us to win again" aside from the obvious that Peyton needs to be healthy. Just a thought.

  3. They are not going to fire Jim in the middle of the season. Nobody on staff is capable of stepping up and doing anything with this team.

Also, not everything is Caldwell's fault this season. The front office for years neglected the defense and offensive line and built this team around one person. They built a defense that is predicated on having the lead to produce. Our offensive line has usually been cast offs or UDFA because of how well Manning can diagnose a defense and get the right pass protection. To me as much as everyone wants to blame Caldwell and wants his head on a platter most of the blame should be at the feet of the Polian's. With that said given the past success of Polian we all know who will fall on the sword first.

What do you mean no one is capable of stepping up and doing something with this team....It cant get any worse pal!

Caldwell is a boob of the highest order...but I will agree he will make it the rest of the season...then Irsay will have all he needs to send him off to ruin some college team somewhere.

I heard our next home game is "Helmet day" anyone who brings their own helmet can play!

  4. Boy and girls...we are stuck with Caldwell...I think he needs to go. He is a major reason we are sub par in all areas. Below is a lik that you all need to read. There are going to be fans that think that Caldwell is NOT the problem...they are the same ones that think Obama should remain in office....nuf said about those fans. Please read the link.

Caldwell must go for us to be contenders before Peyton, Reggie, Jeff, Dallas, Dwight, and Robert retire! :ranton:

    Go Colts!!

  5. guess what ? coyer has been working on new new stuff at practice, it is working great, my guy at practice said it was working great, no first pick for us, we win big sunday, i told you ,so you guys just wouldnt believe me

He convinced the Bengals to forfit?

  6. All the sports analysts are saying that Caldwell's job is safe because of the "Manning crutch". I whole heartedly agree with you that he needs to go. But the injury bug has hit us too...but it does every year. The conservative play calling in the second half was frustrating to say the least.

As a fan I am at a loss....pardon the pun....I do not know what has to give to get rid of this ^^^ guy and the baggage he brought with him. We as fans deserve better...and our beloved players deserve better too!

    :nono2: :cussing:

    :ranton:

  7. Horriable Coaches don't take teams to Super Bowls or get them to the playoffs when they were as beat up as they were last year and don't have the players speak so highly of them like ours do when asked about Caldwell.

Politics 101 for ya here, the Colts are not going to have a player be interviewed that will tell the media that there is unrest in the locker room over the head coach. That causes the ESPN and FOX sports reporters to drool. We have all seen it before with other ball clubs...NBA, MLB...etc..

Certainly Peyton is not going to breathe a word about our * coach. We all know Peyton rules the Offense...Caldwell is in charge of the Time Out calling...we all know how he fails in that category.

Numerous analysts on ESPN, FOX, have all said Caldwells job is safe. It's brutaly obvious that the reason is because Peyton is out. But last I checked....Peyton does NOT play defense. Until we get rid of this "high school coach" at best, we will continue to falter. Besides Peyton, our boys in blue deserve atleast 1-2 more rings, and we as fans deserve to watch, arguably the best QB in NFL history, to leave the game with his arms weighed down from all the rings, not from frustration of another ill fated TO called.

    Caldwell must go!

  8. Clark is a beast - if the QB throwing him the ball has timing and accuracy. Clearly Collins is not that guy! Both Clark and Wayne seemed to show their visual disgust for throws not being where they expected them to be. I'm wondering how much this experience is going to throw them off if/when Manning does come back.

Thats a great point! I thought about it too. I'm hoping that its like "riding a bike". Peyton and our boys in blue have chemistry, and it shows. It's like watching Brady with Welker and his core of recievers. An example would be the pass Brady sent to Chad Johnson yesterday that Chad could not reel in...a sure TD. They just dont have the chemistry yet.

Peyton comes back...Reggie, Dallas, Austin, Piere, Joseph....will be humming like a finely tuned machine. Until then, much like the recession, we will all be on hard times!

    Go :coltslogo:

  9. It may be a non-decision if Collins is still woozy from the concussion.

It looks like he's been woozy since he got to us!Maybe pre concussed from the days Freeny and Mathis put him on his back in Tenn.

Painter the rest of the season IMO!

  10. Are you are talking about Caldwell as the wrong disciple?

Didn't Caldwell take us to a Super Bowl? How many teams can say that about their coach?

Are you seriously mentioning the Super Bowl? He took Tony Dundy's team back!

Caldwell is a nightmare. Peyton being out only exposes his consistant in ability to take this team into the future. When Brady went out with his knee...Belichik and the other coaches adjusted the Patriots to his absense. Caldwel has done none of it! We are doomed this season!

Read this from a Patriots fan...it makes great sense which is why our organization wont read it. http://www.patspulpit.com/2011/9/12/2420229/and-then-grant-said-to-lee-a-season-without-peyton

  11. Get well soon big guy! Your health is top priority to you and your family. We hope that you get back to the field in great health, and ready to win a few more rings.

Every Sunday for 13 seasons, you have given us "blue collar workers" an amazing escape from our day to day lives, and provided us with fantastic football. You are truly an ambassador of the game.

Can't wait to see you under center soon.

Your extended family in Bluffton, South Carolina,

    The Stevenson family

    P.S.

We are the ones carrying the cheers in Jacksonville, Fla for the past 11 years, thanks for the autograph last year! Go :coltslogo:

  12. What in the world did he have our boys in blue do this training camp? As a loyal fan I am embarrassed that we are playing this way. Our O line is failing, thank God Peyton isn't under center, he would have gotten hurt. I am speechless when it comes to our defense....or lack there of!

How long is Bill Polian going to make us live with Caldwell...this guy has ruined this team. He displayed his incompetence last year with his "time outs", and will continue until our front office wakes up and cans his butt.

Available talent: Gruden, Cowher, Fisher....all top caliber coaches.

    Frustrated in South Carolina!

    :coltslogo:Go Colts!
